And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. -Isaiah 58:11

Please, pray for the Roper family, our missionaries in Italy.

I am so behind on updating since we’ve been in the states. Thank you for your prayers. It has been a whirlwind so far, but a good one. A lot to take care of that is difficult overseas, Valerie’s graduation, other graduations, I got to speak at our sending churches ladies event for this month, and reporting to churches in the midst of everything! We are so thankful for our sending church allowing us to stay in their missions home and for the loving and warm welcome back.

We are so grateful to those that traveled to be with us in Florida for Valerie’s graduation with Abeka. My mom, dad, and siblings all came from CA. We are seldom all able to be together, so it was a very special treat! One of Jeremiah’s sisters also came from AZ. We also already begin to see the ties formed in military missions, as, Jonathan, one our previous church members, made the trip all the way from CA, where he is now stationed. In addition, we got to see some friends from our time Okinawa and schoolmates to Valerie that are now at PCC.

For those wondering, Hannah has done amazing, considering all things, but traveling definitely doesn’t look the same as a family of six now with a toddler. Please keep praying for safety and smooth traveling and for the Lord to use our family to burden hearts to serve the Lord in ministry and, especially, the mission field. We’ll begin a cross-country trip in a couple weeks. Tomorrow we travel to Tennessee to attend services at Temple Baptist Church and view the campus of The Crown College of the Bible, where Valerie will be attending the coming fall. So many exciting things!

While it’s been blessed we truly miss Sicilia and our church family of Calvary Baptist Church ♥️ It has been good. God has been SO good to us.

Pray for the Daniel N Lydia Elliott family, our missionaries in Canada.

In Ecclesiastes 3:4, the Preacher (King Solomon) writes, “A time to weep, and a time to laugh, A time
to Mourn, and a Time to dance.” We have felt all those emotions these past months. From a
ministry perspective these past months have been both joyful and very hard. We had 18 for our
Easter services. Several have continued coming off and on. In addition, we have several others that
are interested in coming to church. In over four years of ministry in Canada, we have never seen the
level of interest that we have had in the past 4-5 months. Please pray with us that those that need
to be saved would accept Christ and that Christ would continue to build his church. It is very much
a leap of faith. The church finances are really struggling and we desperately need to see increased
giving as well as increased attendance. Please pray with us that God would continue to build His
church and His work here in Orangeville!
On a more personal level, thank you for everyone that helped with Ethan’s medical expenses. Most,
if not all of those, including his therapy sessions have been paid thanks to your generosity! He is
healing and therapy is going well.
As you probably know, Eliza graduates in just a couple of weeks. We will be in the States for about
three weeks in May for graduation and then we are going to report to a few of our churches. Please
pray with us regarding our travels and that God would use us in the churches we will visit. Elijah
would also greatly appreciate your prayers as he will be overseeing the work here in Orangeville for
us. He will fly in for graduation and then fly back to Canada the same week. This will allow him to
work so that he can pay his fall school bill. We are planning a short furlough during 2027. If you
would like for us to report back, please contact me for more

Pray for our missionaries to Peru, Josh, Heather and Joseph.

Hey! It has been a minute!

2026 has been a fast start. Somehow, after blinking twice, the calendar already says May! I wanted to start by apologizing for not having sent out a prayer letter yet this year, but I promise that we are still going as fast as the Lord allows us to!

So far this year, we’ve taken over 15 flights across North and South America, been in 10 different churches, and visited 4 of our missionaries on the field. On top of that, we’ve had more than three dozen people stay in our home, and we’ve recorded over 500 pieces of content across 6 different programs, all focused on getting the Gospel out across Latin America!

Those programs have already produced over 12 million views of Gospel presentations this year alone. Even better: more than 8,000 people have written to tell us they have accepted Christ since January.

At the same time, the church is growing! We’ve had Vacation Bible School, summer workshops for kids, and we’ve started a new Bible study about two hours south of Lima that will, Lord willing, become a church plant within the next year.

But if I had to pick one moment out of all the movement, travel, and craziness of 2026 so far, it would be this: our church’s first missions conference. As a church, we support 11 missionary families, something we have emphasized from the beginning of our work here in Lima.

In March of this year, we wanted to take it a step further. We decided to have our first annual missions conference and invited a good friend of ours, a missionary from Mexico, to be the speaker. We did not emphasize decorations or extras. I wanted the conference to just focus on the needs of our missionaries.

To be honest, I was expecting a small response and was fully prepared to excuse it away as, “It’s only our first conference…” Instead, God worked in our people’s hearts in an incredible way. Night after night, we took special offerings for each missionary, and our people got excited. We kept a running total, and by the end of the week, our people, living in a poor district of Lima, had given over $3,000 toward these needs. Watching the walk-up offerings each night was something special. There was a clear joy on people’s faces as they gave toward the Lord’s work around the world.

My favorite story came from a man in the church. When the offering came, his four-year-old son wanted desperately to give, but the only money they had was their bus fare to get home. The man told him no, but the boy would not let it go. Finally, the father gave in and handed him the money, and the boy ran off to give his offering. Later that night, one family gave them a ride home, and another covered their transportation for the rest of the week, neither knowing the sacrifice they had just made. God is teaching our people that He will always provide.

I truly believe that the conference was a turning point for our church in understanding its role in reaching people far beyond the city limits of Lima.

Thank you for allowing us to teach the same generosity that you have shown to us through the years. You make it possible for us to be here, and through that, we are able to help others in other places as well.

We love and appreciate you all.
