Get ready for Pentecost this Sunday! 🕊️🔥

We will remember the coming of the Holy Spirit after Jesus' ascension. We like to celebrate by wearing red or international clothing and by having cake (for the global Church's birthday) and coffee on the front lawn after each service.

The children also have a special surprise for us. 🎶

Join us at the 9am or 10:45am service.

One of our latest volunteer initiatives is supporting CAP (Community Action Partnership), a local food drive serving Carver County. 5-10 volunteers can join others from our church on the 3rd Thursday of the month to serve.

Those who have volunteered together say it's such a blast to serve in a tangible way and get to know others at church they might not know very well.

You can join in serving next week on May 21 from 9:30am-1pm. RSVP via our weekly email or contact Deacon Joel.

Our latest Art Gallery features original works from local, award-winning oil painters, Michele Combs and Christine Tierney. 🖼️

They traditionally show together and have displayed their work at numerous galleries and exhibitions in Minnesota and throughout the country. Make sure you take some time to consider their generous use of color and attention to light while their gallery is on display in the Gathering Space this summer.

Thank you for participating in our most generous bake sale ever! 🍪

After Easter, our youth hosted a bake sale fundraiser for their summer mission trip to North Carolina to support ongoing hurricane relief efforts. We raised over $2,200 toward the trip and only had two small plates of cookies left over, which were donated to the youth group for Sunday night snacks. 😉 Otherwise, everything else was sold, and tables were empty by the end of the sale.

We also celebrated the release of our newest EP, which you can listen to at ofthecross.org/album. 🎵

At our Confirmation Service on Friday, 20 adults were confirmed by Bishop Stewart Ruch. Being confirmed is more than confirming our Anglican faith; it's about stepping deeper into mission in and through the Church and the world. 🌎
