The Transforming Power of the Holy Spirit
During the Lenten season the Art Team invited members of the congregation to share their Joys and Sorrows, Empowerments and Pains, written on heart and thorn cut outs. As Lent is a season of reflection on our walk with God, soon comes Easter where we discover new life in Christ. Now as we enter the season of Pentecost, we recognize that the Holy Spirit has taken hold of us and sends us out as a new creation.
Art team members took our hearts and thorns and made them into a baptismal font full of ROSES to depict this transformation. We give thanks for you and for what God is doing through you!

Join Pr. John as he explores this coming Sunday's Gospel text John 20:19-23. This Sunday is Pentecost - the birthday of the church, and while we celebrate it once a year, Pentecost is actually a way of living. Find out how Jesus breathes the Spirit into his disciples and how that Spirit guides us today. As always, grab your Bible, bring your questions, and be open to what the Spirit is stirring.

Join Pr. Lydia as she explores the Gospel text, John 17:1-11, for this coming Sunday. Jesus' final words before his betrayal and arrest are a prayer for his disciples. These words not only show us how deeply Jesus cared for his followers and friends, but they show us the hope that Jesus had for all of us as we are drawn into God's eternity. As always, grab your Bible, bring your questions, and be open to what God is stirring.

Join Pr. Lydia as she explores the Gospel story for this coming Sunday, John 10:1-10. We are at the midpoint of our journey through the season of Easter in the church calendar, and this fourth Sunday of Easter is Good Shepherd Sunday. Each year we get a different part of chapter 10 from John's Gospel to explore what it means for Jesus to be the Good Shepherd. As always, grab your Bible, bring your questions, and be open to what God is stirring.

Join Pr. John as he explores this coming Sunday's Gospel text, Luke 24:13-35. On the road to Emmaus, some of the disciples encounter Jesus, but they do not recognize him. In fact, they don't recognize him until they are sitting down and eating together. How often do we not recognize Jesus even when he is right in front of our faces? Grab your Bible, bring your questions, and as always, be open to what God is stirring.
