Sunday’s Summer Body Panel reminded us that unity starts with Christ.

From Colossians 1:18, we were reminded that Christ is the head of the Church. As we learn more about who He is and our place in His Body, we’re learning how to walk in unity—not only with the Lord, but with our brothers and sisters in the faith.

We also had the opportunity to pray over our children as they return to school, covering them in prayer as they step into a new school year!

Aligning Our Mind, Body & Spirit | NG HOPEWELL RECAP

This Sunday, Evangelist Davina Boyd challenged us to look beyond the outward appearance of a “summer body” and consider what it truly means to be whole.

Through Colossians 2:10, we were reminded:

“And in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.”

Being made whole is not simply about having a healthy body or a renewed mind—it is about having our whole lives connected to Jesus.

Our mind, body, and spirit must come into alignment with Him. When our heart is connected to Jesus, everything else begins to find its proper place. True wholeness comes from being rooted in Christ, because He is the One who completes us.

The goal isn’t simply a summer body.
The goal is a whole life in Jesus.
