County Executive Sue Serino has proclaimed the Rebbe’s birthday, which is this coming Sunday, as Education and Sharing Day, honoring the Rebbe and recognizing the Rebbe’s vision of education rooted in values, kindness, and responsibility.
The Rebbe constantly emphasized that true education means shaping who a person becomes, bring out each child's potential and instilling kindness, moral values, and a sense of purpose.
This year marks 10 years since the first proclamation in Dutchess County.
