⛺On Sunday March 8th, Abby James-Vickery will be sharing about camp during Sunday school. After service, parents and anyone from the congregation are welcome to speak with Abby in the fellowship during coffee hour. Abby is the assistant director at Aldersgate Camp and Retreat Center. She will be sharing with us about the upcoming season for campers, volunteers and employment opportunities. Below is a summary of what Abby will presenting on.

💞💞Welcome back to the Sunday school year! We had the first children's moment of the school year along with Pastor Hope blessing the backpacks. The scripture lesson this week was James 3: 1-12, teaching about taming the tongue. The kids learned about this scripture using toothpaste! It comes out easily but once it's out, it can't go back in, just like our words. Our curriculum for the fall will be focused on Taming Our Attitude! Join us!!

Yesterday June 9 was SOV’s children’s service to end the Sunday school year until the fall. The children lead worship and Ms. Mary had her last children’s message until fall. Sov is blessed to have such an active family ministry. Here are some pictures from the worship service, plus from the face painting done during the church picnic.
