Heart Procedure:Good Friday Morning Everyone, I'm sitting here at CFVH waiting for the words Ms Dore you can see your husband now,everything went fine,those are the words I want to hear.There is light rain outside, still dark,only a few people here in the waiting room.The nurses are walking up and down the hall,some smiling, some not.I hear different sound's, a TV,a cart being rolled down the hall,a couple talking about his procedure, an older gentleman sitting in the corner texting on the phone.Through all these sounds I can still hear the sweet,gentle whisper of God's voice saying, hold on child everything is going to be ok.So here comes the nurse,Ms Dore you can come sit with your husband in pre-op.So here we go.In pre-op Joe's laying on the hospital bed,going in and out of sleep,I sit down beside him,and we wait again(not long)here we wait again.Joe look's at me and says these words,God said don't worry my child everything is going to be ok.Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me,O Lord,and I shall be healed,save me,and I shall be saved,for you are my praise.As Joe dozes in and out,I'm thanking God for a good report that I haven't gotten yet.In times like today it's amazing to see the love of family and friends, everything from prayers,phone calls text messages, that's what it's all about,everyone coming together,to pray for the same thing.Ok almost time,Doctor comes in goes over the procedure.Romans 8:37&38,No,in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life,neither angels nor demons,neither the present nor the future,nor any powers,39 neither height nor depth,nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.I said to Dr S,thank you and off he goes.Before they wheel Joe off to his procedure, I gave him a hug and kiss told him I loved him and would see him in a little while.Off to the waiting room I go,but first I need coffee,so I get my coffee and go back to waiting room, I hadn't been in waiting room 20 minutes,when the doctor came in and said Joe was in recovery and everything went well. Thank you Jesus!So here comes the nurse to take Joe and I to step-down 2,as we were going along I said thank you Jesus, she looked at me and stated that's what he said when the sedation was wearing off.(Thank You Jesus).The outcome could have been different today but the Master had other plans.God has a plan for All of us in these last day's.Joe and I know his plan for us(To spread his word whether it be to 4 or 40.Love one another as if it might be your last day's together, be kind, accept Christ as Lord an Savior, smile a little more,give encouragement in word and deed,thank God every morning that you are alive to see another day.Our Time on this earth is short,everyday may not be sunshine and roses,but when you let God direct your paths,all will be well.Phillipians 4:8, Finally, brothers and Sisters, whatever is true,whatever is noble,whatever is right, whatever is pure,whatever is lovely,whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.Thank you God for your Blessings!
