Please join us as the Seasoned Performers present “Love and Games at the Golden Arms” Take a peek into two stories of the quirky antics of the senior-living facility, The Golden Arms. You’ll laugh along as these lively characters strive to fill their days with humor, games, and a little romance. Dessert Bar and Coffee after the performance $10.00 (optional)

We had such an amazing turnout for our January BPUMC Thursdays With Friends!! Our speaker was JoAnn Huddleston, DMin, LPC, NCC, NCSC.. who gave an amazing presentation on “New Year, Better You”. She taught us the best ways to care for our mental/physical/emotional/spiritual health as we all progressively age. It was such an informative session..and we hope to have her back really soon!

BPUMC Thursdays With Friends knows how to party! Even ‘The Grinch’ enjoyed the day. After our meal, we were blessed by Cara, her Vestavia High School choir, Ensemble, and some beautiful music. After their performance, they led us all in some familiar and favorite Christmas songs. They came straight from their last exam to sing for/with us before beginning their Christmas break. Thank you Cara and Ensemble! Thank you Pastor Ross for offering our blessing and joining us for lunch! Thank you to everyone who attended and made the day so special! Niki Sepsas visited Thursday with Friends yesterday and shared his travel photos of the beautiful fall colors across our country. In addition to the beautiful photos we learned a little botany and meteorology. (Why and how do the leaves change colors and fall from the trees?) When are the fall colors at their best across the U.S.? What trees have the best colors in each area? Which National Parks have the best fall colors? We know all this stuff now! Thank you, Niki!! And thanks to everyone who attended!!
