Who or what are you allowing to lead your life?

In John 10:1–10, Jesus uses the image of a shepherd and his sheep to reveal an important truth about Himself: “I am the gate.” Through this powerful statement, Jesus shows that He is the way to safety, freedom, and abundant life.

In this message, I AM the Gate, we explore what it means to enter through Christ instead of searching for fulfillment and security in other places. Jesus doesn’t just point us toward life—He becomes the doorway to it.

This passage reminds us that His voice brings clarity, His protection brings peace, and His presence leads us into a life marked by purpose and hope.

Whether you’re new to faith, searching for direction, or wanting to grow deeper in your walk with God, this message will encourage you to trust the One who opens the way to true life.

Join us as we discover how Jesus invites us into a relationship that is secure, life-giving, and full of grace.

A message from our incoming Senior Pastor.

We are so excited to welcome Pastor Tyler Christiansen back to Riverchase. He begins in July, and he comes with a deep love for this church and a heart for everyone in it: our children and youth, our families, our longtime members, and those who have joined us since he was last here. We look forward to all that God has in store for Riverchase.

Welcome back, Tyler.

What are you truly hungry for?

In John 6:35–40, Jesus makes one of His most powerful “I AM” statements: “I am the bread of life.” In a world where people search for fulfillment in success, relationships, achievement, and temporary things, Jesus offers something deeper—lasting satisfaction for the soul.

In this message, I AM the Bread of Life, we explore what Jesus meant when He declared Himself to be the source of true life, hope, and spiritual nourishment. He doesn’t just give bread—He is the Bread.

Whether you’re spiritually exhausted, searching for meaning, or simply wanting to grow deeper in your faith, this message reminds us that only Jesus can truly satisfy the deepest needs of our hearts.

Join us as we discover what it means to come to Christ daily, trust Him fully, and find life that never runs empty.

This past Sunday, our church family welcomed 12 new members through confirmation, and we couldn't be prouder!

Each of these young people has spent months studying their faith, asking hard questions, and making a courageous decision to claim it as their own. For each of them, this is just the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, and what a beautiful beginning it is.

We are so grateful for the families who have walked alongside them, the mentors who have poured into them, and the community that continues to grow. Please join us in celebrating these 12 and lifting them up in prayer as they take this next step.

Welcome to Riverchase Modern Worship!

This week’s message, *“Let the Journey Begin,”* comes from Genesis 12:1–9 and the calling of Abram. In this powerful passage, God invites Abram to step into the unknown, leave behind what’s familiar, and trust Him completely with the journey ahead.

Faith often begins with a step—sometimes uncertain, sometimes uncomfortable—but always guided by God’s promise and presence. Wherever you are in your walk, this message is a reminder that God is calling, leading, and faithful every step of the way.

Scripture: Genesis 12:1–9
Join us in worship and be encouraged to trust God as you step into what He has for you.

Welcome to Riverchase Modern Worship!

This week’s message, *“What Brings Us Together,”* is rooted in Acts 2:42–47—a beautiful picture of the early church living in unity, devotion, and authentic community. As believers gathered, shared life, and centered everything around Jesus, God moved in powerful ways.

In a world that often feels divided and disconnected, this message reminds us what truly unites us: faith, fellowship, worship, and a shared mission. We’re better together—and God still works through a connected, committed community.

Welcome to Riverchase Modern Worship!

This week’s message, *“Get Out of the Boat,”* comes from Matthew 14:22–33—a powerful moment where Peter steps out in faith to walk on water toward Jesus. It’s a reminder that following Christ often means stepping beyond comfort, facing fear, and trusting Him in the unknown.

What is God calling you to step out of? Whether it’s fear, doubt, or security, this message challenges us to fix our eyes on Jesus and take that next step of faith—even when the waves feel overwhelming.

Welcome to Riverchase Modern Worship!

This week, we dive into a powerful message titled “It Has To Be” based on John 20:19–31. In this passage, we encounter the risen Jesus meeting His disciples in their fear, doubt, and uncertainty—and everything changes. Through Thomas’ story, we’re reminded that faith isn’t about having all the answers, but about trusting the One who meets us right where we are.

Whether you're walking through doubt, searching for hope, or growing in your faith, this message is for you. Jesus still shows up. He still speaks peace. And He still calls us to believe.

Scripture: John 20:19–31
Worship with us and experience the presence of God wherever you are.

"For Thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever… Amen."

Over the course of this Lenten season, we've journeyed through the Lord's Prayer one phrase at a time.

We've now reached the sixth and final week of our sermon series, and it's fitting that we close during Holy Week, with Easter just one week away. This closing phrase does what all great endings do: it reorients everything. Not with a request, not with a confession, but with a declaration. The Kingdom belongs to God. The power belongs to God. The glory belongs to God. Forever.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. These videos were created with one simple goal: to give everyone in our church family a way to slow down, reflect, and let these ancient words sink a little deeper.

"For Thine is the Kingdom…" — the final week of Lent. Pastor Reid leaves us with some challenges to carry with us as the season closes:

- Spend time in worship and praise, not asking for anything, simply declaring who God is.
- Share with someone how this series has shaped or shifted your perspective.
- Invite someone to Worship.

We're grateful you've walked this road with us. We hope the Lord's Prayer has spoken to you in a fresh way this season, and we can't wait to celebrate with you on Easter Sunday.

Week Six: Reid Turner - For Thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever… Amen.

"And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."

We are releasing a new video each week of Lent. We encourage you to watch, share, and let the Lord's Prayer speak to you in a fresh way this season.

We're now in week five of Lent, and our sermon series continues to take us through the Lord's Prayer, one phrase at a time over six weeks.

To support this journey, our Modern Service team has created a video for each week of the series. These videos are for everyone, regardless of which service you attend, and are a great way to reflect on and engage with what we're exploring together as a church.

"And lead us..." week of Lent. Michael leaves us with some challenges this week:
- Pray for and practice humility.
- Ask God to lead you away from a current struggle.
- Ask God for an opportunity to help guide someone else.

We encourage you to watch, share, and let the Lord's Prayer speak to you in a fresh way this season.

Week Five: Michael Stuckey - And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
