The mission of Campus Outreach SERVE is Empowering and Expanding Campus Outreach ministries under the authority of local churches.

Welcome to a new series: Where in the world is SERVE? 🌎

Our CO SERVE team exists to empower and expand Campus Outreach ministries under the authority of local churches, and that often means showing up in person. This series is your behind-the-scenes look at where they’ve been and what God is doing there.

First stop: Brazil 🇧🇷 Melanie and Jon recently returned from Belo Horizonte (BH), where they led staff assessments: a SERVE offering that helps Campus Outreach staff around the world grow in health, understand their God-given design, and gain vision for what’s next. Melanie served on staff in Brazil for years, so this trip was also a reunion with students she once shared Jesus with who are now leading ministry themselves.

Where in the world is SERVE? First up: Houston, Texas 🇺🇸

Members of our CO SERVE team recently joined the Directors Conference, where Campus Outreach ministry leaders from around the world gathered. It was a full week of learning from one another, sharing what God is doing in every corner of the globe, and talking through how we can strengthen the work together so more college students hear the gospel, grow in their faith, and are sent out to reach their world.

There’s something special about having leaders from so many countries in one room, all working toward the same mission. Swipe through to see some of our favorite moments from the week ➡️

Today a red dot turned blue 🔵 Columbia Presbyterian Church, the hub church for Campus Outreach Columbia, launched to Good News Church to form Campus Outreach North Florida, and the team started on Flagler College this fall! Over 30 more churches have asked us to send a team. Would you pray with us for CO North Florida and for wisdom on the next red dot to turn blue? “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Matthew 9:37)
