'The Rock!' - FBC Hooker Youth Group

'The Rock!' - FBC Hooker Youth Group First Baptist Church of Ho**er, OK is a Southern Baptist Church in the Panhandle of Oklahoma. We meet on Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 9:45am.

The Youth Group at First Baptist Church meets in the old fellowship hall, which we have recently renamed THE ROCK! THE ROCK is a place to come and fellowship with friends; learn about God and what it means to follow Him. Psalms 62:6, "He only is my rock and my salvation:
He is my defense; I shall not be moved." We call our time together SUNDAY MORNING CONNECT! SUNDAY MORNING CONNECT is a time to

worship and grow closer to our Savior. Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.”

On Wednesday evening we meet for Youth Bible Study at 6:30pm
This time together is called YOUTH UNPLUGGED! YOUTH UNPLUGGED is a time to unplug from the world and plug into God’s word. Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. If you don’t have a church home we would love for you to be apart of our youth group!

Attention Youth: There has been a change of plans for Wednesday. Let’s meet at the pavilion at the park here in Ho**er at 6:00 pm for Wednesday Youth on 6-18-25. We will have hot dogs and a Bible study. We will hang out for a bit and if anyone wants to play volleyball or basketball we can do that too. Thanks so much!! Let your friends know and we will see you there.

Youth don’t forget that tonight is FCA Fields of Faith in Liberal, KS. We will meet at the church at 6:00pm then load up to head over. You will need a release form filled out by a parent/guardian in order to go. Also please eat before arriving. We do not plan on stopping anywhere before or after. (We will only be taking students grades 7-12)

Reminder! Tomorrow is See You at the Pole!
The kids will meet at 7:30am around the pole at the bird sanctuary between the elementary and high school. Doughnuts and juice will be provided. Tomorrow evening we will have Saw You at the Pole at the church starting at 6:00pm. Come for games, door prizes, food, and a guest speaker to bring the lesson! Invite your friends
