🙏 **HOW TO RECOGNIZE GOD’S VOICE Part 2** 🙏

God *is* speaking… but the real question is:
👉 **Are we hearing Him clearly?**

Not every thought in your mind is from God. That’s why Scripture teaches us to **test what we hear**.

📖 Jesus said: *“My sheep hear my voice…”*

***

✅ **How do you know it’s God?**

Ask yourself:

* Does it align with God’s Word?
* Does it make you more like Christ?
* Does it bring peace or create division?
* Is it motivated by love… or by pride, anger, or jealousy?

***

❌ **Not from God if it comes from:**

* Bitterness
* Envy
* Selfish ambition
* Gossip or criticism

✅ **From God if it produces:**

* Peace
* Humility
* Mercy
* Unity
* A Christlike spirit

***

📡 Sometimes we don’t hear God clearly because of **interference**:

* Sin
* Disobedience
* Unforgiveness
* Distractions

***

💡 **Truth:**
God desires a relationship with you.
And in that relationship… **He speaks.**

So today ask yourself:
👉 *What am I listening to?*
👉 *Is there anything blocking my ability to hear Him?*

🔥 **“Very few things are more important than knowing when you are hearing from God.”**

Adult VBS has begun at Union. Tonight Lindsay Jordan led us in a study from Exodus :God saves baby Moses. “God finds me when I have troubles”. If you have not experienced Adult VBS class with us, we invite you to join us for Session 2 May 24, 2026 at 5PM when Carl Massey will be teaching from the book of Ruth. “God finds me when I am lonely”. Join us for Bible Study, Fun , Fellowship, and even snacks! We would love to have you join us!!
