God's Grace Christian Church What We Believe In

1. God is one in essence, nature, and being, yet distinct in roles. MAN – We believe that in the beginning God created man in His own image.

GOD - We believe there is only one God; Trinitarian in nature, God eternally exists in three distinct persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is all powerful, all knowing, in control over everything, self sufficient and eternally existent who has no beginning or end.-

2. THE BIBLE - We believe that the Bible is God’s authoritative Word, written by men inspired by
God the Holy Spiri

t. We believe the Bible to be inerrant in its original texts and the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and life.

3. After the fall of Adam and Eve, all people born into the world are sinners, morally corrupt, and enslaved to sin. We believe that apart from the grace of God, humanity is unable to choose to follow God and turn to Jesus Christ in faith for salvation.

4. SALVATION - We believe that salvation is by grace as a gift of God, through faith and not by works, and through the complete work of Christ alone.

5. CHURCH - We believe the church as a body of people from the past, the present, and the future,
who through Christ’s sacrificial death have been reconciled to God and given new life.
