Oyasato Seminar Alumni The Oyasato Seminar Alumni Instagram was created during the 35th anniversary of the establishment of OS in 1984. Our purpose is to connect all graduates of OS.

We are meeting at 10:30AM on January 24, 2026 at Koriyama Grand Church! We are also coordinating transportation to and from so please contact our coordinators Sharlene Fujisato for Hawaii or Susumu Yuge for Mainland!

January 24. 2026 is a gathering for those who had been to the Oyasato seminar in Ojiba. A rare moment to celebrate and honor Rev and Mrs Iburi for the contribution to the path in Hawaii and the English speaking world.
Although initially a get together for the planners of the “Iburi Event” of 2019 in Hawaii as we have been asked to call it.
We are inviting all those who experienced the Oyasato Seminar who will be there in Ojiba in January 2026.

2019 was not the last event of our appreciation to Rev. Iburi and his wife but a reminder of the gratitude for his dedication which continues onward.
