Full stop here…I could’ve plated this on one of my Italian plates, appropriately colored for Autumn…but truth be told we are suckers for a very good pork steak, and this, by Honolulu Baking Company, Kaka’ako Eats was exactly what the doctor ordered for a post hurricane dinner. Pork steaks over potatoes run over a mandolin, you know what that pork fat is going to make those spuds..magical…give them a ring, entrees twice a week for four, two or three if gluttonous, 808-596-2556..call them up get on their mailing list!

Lowell passed through, and the results were catastrophic. Maybe not in urban Honolulu, but by the divine grace of whomever is calling the shots up there, we have somewhere to pray this morning.
