* To remember the poor, the orphan, the widow, and help them in need
* To speak when the Bible speaks, and be silent when it is silent
* To carefully follow the doctrine of the holy and inspired apostles of Jesus Christ
We pray earnestly that the gospel of Christ will always be taught and lived in this place. Additionally, that God and Jesus Christ will always be honored and glorified here.

๐‘๐จ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐Ÿ:๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–-๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—: For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

In Romans 2:17โ€“29, Paul warned the Jews who believed they were privileged simply because they were Godโ€™s chosen people and possessed His Law. Their heritage and outward signs meant little if their lives did not reflect the truth they taught. Their hypocrisy even caused others to dishonor God.

The same applies to Christians today. Christianity is more than a nameโ€”it is a life transformed from the heart through obedience to the gospel. As children of God, our words, choices, and example should represent Him faithfully and help lead others to Him. We should seek Godโ€™s approval, not merely appear righteous before people.

๐‘๐จ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐Ÿ:๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”:...in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

Romans 2:7โ€“11 presents two very different paths. Those who patiently continue doing goodโ€”seeking the glory, honor, and immortality found in Godโ€”will receive eternal life. However, those who are self-seeking, reject the truth, and choose unrighteousness will face tribulation, distress, and the righteous judgment of God. Whether Jew or Gentile, every person will be judged by the same standard, โ€œfor there is no partiality with God.โ€

Verses 12โ€“16 remind us that possessing or hearing Godโ€™s law is not enough; what matters is responding to it in faithful obedience. Even the Gentiles, who did not have the written Law of Moses, demonstrated through their conscience that they understood the difference between right and wrong. Their thoughts either accused or excused them, showing that Godโ€™s moral truth had been written upon their hearts.

A day is coming when God, through Jesus Christ, will judge even the secrets of mankind. Nothing is hidden from His eyesโ€”not our actions, our motives, or the true condition of our hearts. Earthly position, reputation, and outward appearance will not influence His judgment. God sees us completely, judges us truthfully, and shows no partiality.

๐‘๐จ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐Ÿ:๐Ÿ๐Ÿ: For there is no partiality with God.

In Romans 2:1โ€“11, Paul turns his attention to the Jews who condemned the sins of the Gentiles while practicing similar sins themselves. His warning applies to us today: it is easy to recognize the faults of others while overlooking our own. Paul condemns hypocritical, self-righteous judgment and reminds us to examine our own hearts first.

The Jews believed their ancestry and position as Godโ€™s chosen people would protect them, but Paul made it clear that no one receives special treatment. Godโ€™s kindness and patience should not be mistaken for approval of sin; they are opportunities for us to repent and change.

Verse 11 summarizes the passage: โ€œFor there is no partiality with God.โ€ God does not judge people by their appearance, background, reputation, or status. Because God shows no partiality, neither should we.
