We had a wonderful turnout for the 73rd Shiloh Cemetery homecoming. The boys did an amazing job on the fish. I was busy visiting I forgot to get pictures until after everyone was getting ready to leave. Thank you to all that were in attendance as well as those that mailed in donations to help maintain our community’s cemetery. We hope to see you all again next year.

We have recently visited the cemetery to take photos of new stones and post them on the Fannin County Genweb page and FindAGrave. If you have photos of loved ones buried at Shiloh that you would like to have on the Genweb site and/or FIndAGrave, please scan or take a photo and send them to [email protected]

We had a wonderful turnout for the 71st Shiloh Cemetery homecoming with over 65 people in attendance. Jimmy Newhouse and his crew did an amazing job on the fish and Dewayne Strickland serenaded us with gospel and patriotic songs. Thank you to all that were in attendance as well as those that mailed in donations to help maintain our community’s cemetery. Also thank you to all that have donated their time clearing trees, maintaining the property, and setting up for the homecoming. We hope to see you all again next year.

*we were too busy visiting and missed out on taking pictures. If you took any and would like to share please do so.

As discussed at last year’s homecoming the large tree that provided wonderful shade over the pavilion had died and was in need of removal. Thanks to Mickey Shepherd, Jimmy Newhouse, and Kenneth Jones the tree has been safely removed as well as several other trees along the fence line that were in need of removal.
