The Sheriff's Office wants to encourage everyone throughout Russell County to come together today at 12:00 and pray. We encourage everyone to pray for God's guidance and direction during this time. His love and understanding as well as his healing and protection over our county, state, and country. We want to encourage prayer over the world right now. We want to acknowledge and put God first and know that we can lean on him to deliver us through these testing times.

We want to go alittle further and ask that citizens throughout the county take a red ribbon and tie it outside your door/yard. We want to show through this ribbon that we are trusting and putting God first. To show that we are standing on faith and love, knowing that God is in control
