It is with profound joy that we celebrate the heavenly transition of our beloved Mother Gladys Edward Summers, a trailblazing pillar of the House of God. Her remarkable legacy as a pioneer in the ministry will forever be etched in our hearts, spanning over 40 extraordinary years of dedication. Mother Summers embodied the spirit of generosity, passionately singing quartet songs that uplifted souls, savoring delicious southern-style meals that nourished bodies, and zealously studying and sharing the word of God that revitalized spirits. As 2 Corinthians 5:1 so eloquently reminds us, 'when the earthly tabernacle is dissolved, Christians believe they possess an eternal, God-built home in heaven,' we take comfort in knowing that Mother Summers has moved from a fragile, temporary 'tent' to an everlasting, spiritual dwelling not made by human hands. Her absence will be deeply felt, yet her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift the lives of those she touched.
