Today was Redland Christian Academy’s annual field day!

K-12th graders enjoyed a day of fun in the sun playing over a dozen different games together from 8:30AM-12:00PM!

All of this was possible because of our sister in Christ Deonee Chin-Palmer for planning and organizing the day months in advance! Thank you so much for your hard work! RCA is blessed because of you!

Happy Memorial Day!

Today is a reminder that sacrifice is the greatest form of love one can give.

We are thankful for those who sacrificed their life in war, so that we could enjoy our earthly freedom and rights.

It serves as a reminder of Jesus Christ who sacrificed Himself in the ultimate war against sin, so that we could experience ultimate freedom from sin and the right to be called children of God.

We are proud of our Redland Christian Academy flag football team for winning the league championship game, and completing the season with an undefeated record.

They were also the one and only co-ed team in the league. This is a huge accomplishment for RCA athletics that has never been done before.

They were down 28-14 at halftime, but overcame adversity to win 48-41.

We give God all the glory!

We are also thankful for the school’s Athletic Director Stephen Martinez III, and our Head Coaches Enrique Santos and Mrs. Valdez for helping lead this team, and committing to growing the students into being more like Christ.

RCA Sunday was such an amazing time!

Students and their families, teachers, and the Church all together as one body. One voice praising Jesus for his work in our life.

Thank you to everyone who served, and thank you for everyone who participated in the service in some way!

We enjoyed an encouraging message from Redland Christian Academy’s principle Daniel Carrillo on putting our trust in God alone.

Psalm 133:1 — ““Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!”

Our first ever Bible Q&A night with Redland Christian Academy was such a blessing!

24+ students came out with their friends and families for a total of 35 people.

We explored pressing questions around God, The Bible, and Christianity. It was a time of learning, growing, and connection!

Thank you everyone who came out and participated!

Join us tonight to explore hard questions about God, The Bible, and Christianity! We will also be feeding everyone for free, giving out prizes, and connecting in fellowship!

Doors will open at 5:00PM, and we will begin the Q&A session at 5:30PM.

Let’s explore, learn, grow, and enjoy connection together!

A message to parents with children

Read the Bible with your children. Do not merely rely on Sunday school Bible class for your children to hear, read, and discuss the Bible. You need to show your children by example what it means to be a follower of Jesus, and teach them what the Bible says. Find time every night to read the Bible with your children. You read it with them, and then let them read it also. Then take time to discuss with them what it means and what we should learn from it. Parents, it is our responsibility to be the primary Bible educators and teachers in our children’s life.

Outsourcing this responsibility to a Sunday school teacher or youth minister is NOT enough. It is not the best way to develop your child’s relationship with Jesus. They will not develop a biblical worldview nor a Christian philosophy by merely going to Sunday school 1-3 times a week. They need to see our commitment to being willing to lead them and train them ourselves.

Parents — let’s step it up!
