WHAT DOES JESUS AND JAM MEAN TO YOU?
I want to ask you something, not just with words, but from the depths of my heart.
What value do you place on a child not going to bed hungry?
What value do you place on knowing that every Saturday, there are children in our community who receive a meal and for some of them, it may be the only meal they have all weekends?
What value do you place on a family having somewhere to turn when they have nothing left?
What value do you place on an organization that shows up in the darkest moments, not asking questions, not turning anyone away,
but simply loving people where they are?
Because that’s what Jesus and Jam does.
We become the hands that give, the feet that go, and the heart that refuses to look away.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat… I was in need, and you took care of me.” Matthew 25:35
What value do you place on a child who is struggling, finding hope again?
On an after-school program that doesn’t just help with homework, but speaks life, purpose, and truth into their hearts.
On a summer program that not only feeds them, but protects them, covers them, and reminds them every single day:
“You matter. You are loved. God has a plan for your life.”
What value do you place on a child learning to read,
knowing that literacy can change the entire direction of their future?
But more than anything.
What value do you place on the Gospel being lived out in real time? Not just spoken but demonstrated. Not just heard
but felt. Because everything we do, every meal, every bed, every book, every prayer, it all points back to Jesus.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
This ministry, it is not a program. It is not an organization.
It is a calling. A calling to love like Jesus. To serve like Jesus.
To give, even when it costs. And it does cost.
Every year, nearly $100,000 is poured back into this community, into lives, into families, into children who need to know they are not forgotten. Everything we provide is free, but it is not without sacrifice. And I understand, you may not need what we offer.
But can you hear me when I say this? Someone right beside you does. A child down your street. A family sitting quietly in struggle.
A life hanging in the balance.
And too often, we believe, “Someone else will give.” But what if…
You are the someone God is calling?
“If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?” 1 John 3:17
This is more than giving money. This is about obedience.
This is about compassion. This is about answering the call of Christ.
So today, I’m not just asking, I’m inviting you.
To be part of something eternal.
To sow into lives that will never forget your kindness.
To help us continue being the hands and feet of Jesus in this community.
Please prayerfully consider giving today.

Because at the end of the day, when we stand before God, It won’t be about what we kept. It will be about what we gave.
“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:17
So, I ask you again. What value do YOU place on having Jesus and Jam in this community?
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, grateful for who You are, our Provider, our Sustainer, and our Source of all things.
Lord, You see every child who is hungry, every family that is struggling, every quiet need that no one else sees.
And yet, You never turn away.
Father, we ask that You continue to cover Jesus and Jam with Your hand. Strengthen every volunteer. Provide every resource.
Open doors that no man can shut.
Let every meal served carry Your love.
Let every child feel Your presence.
Let every act of kindness point directly back to You.
Lord, stir the hearts of Your people.
Move us beyond comfort, beyond excuses, and into compassion.
Help us to see others the way You see them. Help us to give the way You gave. Help us to love the way You love.
And Father, for anyone reading this who may not know You personally. I pray today is the day.
Touch their heart. Draw them close.
Let them feel Your love in a real and undeniable way.
If that is you, you can simply pray:
“Jesus, I need You.
I believe You died for me and rose again.
Forgive me of my sins.
Come into my heart.
Be my Lord and my Savior.
I give my life to You.”
Lord, thank You for every life that will be touched, every heart that will be changed, and every seed that will be sown.
We give You all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
