Sister Ruby Dale Deese was a devoted member of our church and a pioneering figure in its formation as a charter member. She had the privilege of leading worship for an extensive period under the guidance of her son, Founding Pastor Johnny WestMoreLand.

Today is Memorial Day, a day of remembrance and celebration of those who have fought and died for our freedom. While many families are enjoying an extra day off work, others are hurting as they remember their loved ones who are no longer with them. Let's take a moment to acknowledge the sacrifices made by the families of our brave men and women in uniform and offer our support and prayers. May Jesus, the ultimate comforter, bind the broken-hearted and shower them with love and grace. Amen.
