Today wrapped up our CCMS huddles for this year. We talked about you being more than sports, more than what you do. One day the games will end and your life will go on. We were reminded to put our identity in Christ not what we do. Jesus loves us and gives us all talents to use. Through those talents we can bring honor and glory to Him.

What a great group of leaders we had this year. I’m so thankful for all of our students and pray they continue to find a group and a church to get involved with to have a deeper relationship with the Lord. Love you all!❤️

We are a blessed community! We have so many coaches, teachers, youth pastors and pastors that will come and invest in our youth.

Coach Tison, spoke on the parable of the sheep. Sheep are weak and very vulnerable animals. They are completely dependent on their shepherd. Sheep a lot of times are mean to each other, sounds like how we are to each others at times too. The Shepherd is there to guide and protect all the sheep.
Coach Tison reminded us that we too need our Shepherd, Jesus, so we can be protected and directed where we need to go. The Shepherd loves us and desires a relationship with us.

Thank you Coach Tison for sharing with us.

Happy Friday! Join us this morning as we hear from Coach Don Tison. We start at 7:40. See you there!

Our Leadership team spoke on why the resurrection is so important to Christians.
-It proves who Jesus is, God’s Son
-It demonstrates that He accepted Jesus’ sacrifice was on our behalf.
-It shows God has the power to raise us from the dead.
-He shows us just how much He loves us

We serve a loving God. He is gracious and merciful.

We hope everyone finds a church to worship our Lord this Easter Sunday!

He is risen! He is risen in deed!

Pastor Nick from Freewill Baptist came with his dog today to share with us. His dog is well trained and obedient. It’s because he has spent time with his master and the dog trusts him. The dog showed obedience and joy when he followed his master’s commands. We too have masters in our life that we are called to listen to and follow their directions. Not only our Heavenly Father, but our parents, teachers and anyone else in authority over us. When we follow our master’s commands we too can receive not only earthly rewards but Heavenly ones too.
“Obey the rulers who have authority over you. Only God can give authority, and He puts these rulers in their places of power. People who oppose authorities are opposing what God has done, and they will be punished.”

“Rulers are a threat to evil people, not to good people.”

Let that sink in. God is good.❤️ Thank you pastor Nick for sharing truth with us.

This morning our Leadership team lead us in a devotion about things that distract us from God.
Mark 4:19- “but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced.”
There are so many things that get our attention and keep us from spending time with God, phones, movies, games, friends, and even just laziness. However, God has given us scripture on how to overcome distractions.
Romans 12:2, “Do not be confirmed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
1 John 2:15- “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

We have a patient God and we are thankful for that. ❤️

Coach Rhett came and spoke this morning about how important it is in having a relationship with Jesus. He quoted 1 Corinthians 7:23, “God paid a high price for you, so don't be enslaved by the world” and 3:16, “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” When we have a relationship with God, He can do many and great things through us.

Thanks Coach Rhett for investing in our students and congratulations on recently becoming a Clinch County Hall of Fame member.
