Commerce Community Church "Connecting Communities to Jesus Christ by helping them develop meaningful connections in the church.

Commerce Community Church started in 2003 in Pastor Jeremy's home with just a handful of committed Christians. Since the day the church started it has been our desire to lead as many people as possible to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

If your running from God, your no threat to your enemy.

Too many good men and women are out of Church. They feel that they have made such a mess, or maybe they have let God down and they are ashamed..

Today we start a new series at CCC..

Broken, But Not Defeated.

Stop running from God and get in church today. He is waiting for your return..

This is for someone.

Some of you have left church. You have stopped serving God and you know that you made a mistake by doing that.

There is many different reasons why someone may stop going to church but when the reality sets in that you have made a mistake then what do you do?

Sadly many never turn back. They feel guilty, they may even be ashamed of the bad decision and so they continue to stay away..

Tomorrow as the church we celebrate our Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ.

Tomorrow would be a great day for you to come back home. For you to get up, shake off the dust of a bad decision and get back in church.

If any of our friends want to come to church we would love for you to visit with us at Commerce Community Church .

If any of you for any reason have left CCC and your wanting to come back home.. Please know we welcome you and hope to see you in the morning..

Let's celebrate His life and our hope for eternal life together..

Today at CCC we will look at the difference between being a fan of Jesus and a follower of Jesus.

On this Palm Sunday Jesus made His entrance into Jerusalem and He had a lot of fans. Many were crying Hosanna they were praising Him from a distance but not so many were following. Not so many were willing to praise Him when the storm came.

Come on out to CCC this morning as we jump into this topic with both feet.

Hey friends we are getting ready to launch a new avenue of ministry at Commerce Community Church

We will be trying to go once a month to places around Athens to minister to the homeless.

Our goal for this ministry is to meet physical needs and build long-term relationships that will allow us open doors to minister to their spiritual needs.

There are many true homeless families in and around the Athens area and many of these are struggling daily with addictions.

We know that Christ and true salvation is the answer that many of these families need.

We will be providing a meal, personal hygiene items, blankets, a time of worship, and one on one witnessing during these outreaches.

Would you like to help??

If so there are several ways you can get on board with this outreach.

1: Sign up to volunteer to help during these outreaches (we will need prayer partners, people to help distribute food and items, possibly singers and musicians)
We will be going on Sunday afternoons once a month. The first date is not set but will be announced next week.

2: Donate items to be distributed
(Men, women, and childrens personal hygiene items, new or gently used clean blankets, and of course financial aid is always welcomed. But please if financial donations are made make them out to Commerce Community Church.

3: Prayer
We need and covet your prayers in this ministry. Our end goal is salvation and discipleship.

If you want to volunteer please text your desire to do so to 678-283-5791 and we will keep you updated with all Information.

If you want to make donations please bring them by our church Sunday mornings or drop them off at Harris Meats during normal business hours.

We are excited about how God can and will use this outreach ministry and we're excited to get to partner with you in the near future.
