VBS Night 2 we learned about how Zacchaeus earnestly sought to see Jesus and how Jesus sought after the publican named Zacchaeus. Did you know that Jesus is still in search of people who will follow him? He wants to fellowship with us, but are we seeking Him?

This summer, kids are invited to level up for Vacation Bible School at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church! Our theme this year is “Press Toward the Mark” a fun gaming adventure inspired by classic arcade days while pointing kids to the greatest goal of all: following Christ.

Join us June 15-19 from 6-8 PM nightly for an exciting week filled with Bible lessons, songs, games, snacks, and plenty of fun for kids ages 4-12. Whether your child is a first-time visitor or has been coming for years, we’d love to have them join the adventure. 👾

Wednesdays In the Word:

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

It's easy to trust God when everything makes sense, but the challenge comes when it doesn't.

Proverbs 3 reminds us that faith isn't about having all the answers, it's about trusting the One who does.

As you're reading through Proverbs this month, take some time to slow down and reflect on chapter 3. These verses are many people's life verses (This pastor included!) and have encouraged believers for generations because they remind us that God is faithful to guide those who follow Him.

Whatever you're facing today, trust Him with it. He sees the whole path, even when we can only see the next step.

📚 Don't forget our Proverbs Challenge: Read the chapter of Proverbs that matches today's date and ask God to give you wisdom for the day ahead.

This past Sunday, we had the privilege of recognizing our graduates and celebrating several students as they were promoted to their next classes in church.

This week we celebrated the end of the school year by having a water night extravaganza.

We are thankful for our Ridge Kids & Teen workers and their faithfulness/dedication.

Tomorrow is the big day! We will be having our turnaround service schedule with a bring your own lunch fellowship in between the services.

If you don’t feel like cooking you can help support the teens as they raise money for camp and enjoy a delicious spaghetti lunch for $5/pp or $20/family.

The teens will also be auctioning off some delicious desserts for you to enjoy as well 😁 (get a sneak peak of just a couple delicious desserts in the comments). We can’t wait to see you at church tomorrow!
