Believers are devoted to the study of Scripture, faithful Obedience, the practice of Love, establishing their Identity in Jesus Christ, and intentional Discipleship.

Pool-Noodle Hockey at SOLID:

With the Stanley Cup playoffs heating up, SOLID Christian church decided to bring a little of that energy into Youth Group with a game of pool noodle hockey. Although it started out as a simple game, it quickly turned into a night of laughter, friendly competition, surprising skill, and brotherly love.

This is just one of many ways that SOLID Christian church encourages the development of godly friendships based in a Christ-centric atmosphere. After the game, a deep biblical lesson was provided capping off an amazing night.

Youth Group meets from 7:45 PM on Wednesday night to 9:00 PM.

SOLID’s Children’s Church Service Launched

Last Sunday, SOLID Christian Church launched its first children’s church service during Dr. Bliss‘s sermon. Intern, Re*****on Bliss, gave a lively and inspiring biblical lesson over the importance of being a child of God. Eight children from the ages 3 to 10 attended, and each one took the next step towards building a deeper relationship with Christ.

5/15/26: SOLID Announces its Summer Internship:

SOLID is excited to announce that a new summer internship has been approved by the church. Re*****on Bliss has been hired to help provide educational and spiritual support to the church’s ministries. In this role, he will offer biblical teaching and spiritual guidance that encourages Christian maturity throughout our children’s ministry and the church body as a whole.

Re*****on will be responsible for leading the weekly children’s church lesson during our Sunday services for children ages 4–10, as well as providing weekly spiritual lessons for the middle school group. At times, he will engage with the broader church body by writing devotions and accompanying the senior minister in important ministry and leadership opportunities.

This opportunity is one that Re*****on has desired to explore as he considers a future calling to gospel ministry. In his own words:

“Over the past year, I’ve learned how important it is to have a strong foundation in your faith. I’ve seen what the world offers and how necessary it is to remain grounded in Christ. 1 Timothy 4:12 has been a huge inspiration to me, reminding me not to let my youth become a barrier, but instead to proclaim Jesus boldly regardless of my age. I hope to bring knowledge, encouragement, and to be a positive role model for the kids I will be teaching.”

SOLID’s Parking Lot Expands.

SOLID Christian Church continues to upgrade its facilities at 416 Colorado Ave. Today, the church upgraded its parking lot north of the church building. This new gravel parking lot will add additional places for church members and attenders to park. We continue to be blessed by God‘s provision, and we are excited for future steps of growth.

5/8/26: Reflection - The Best and Only Way

SOLID Christian Church wrapped up the completion of its sixth year of “The Way” this last week. This unique Children’s ministry program is dedicated to the biblical education of our children, and to equipping them to meet the challenges that they face at school, at home, and in their daily lives with godly virtue.

I, and the dedicated volunteers of SOLID Christian Church, are so blessed by the spiritual maturation we have seen in these young children. Their hearts continue to beat for the Lord, and their minds filled with the enduring promises of God‘s love.

The pictures are of our last day and celebration. Thank you parents for your willingness and dedication to bringing your children to this program.

5/7/26: SOLID CC is Active During the National Day of Prayer

Prayer for our elected leaders, law enforcement, first responders, and military personnel is vitally important and Biblically supported. Romans 13:1–7 teaches that governing authorities are ultimately established by God and serve as His instruments to maintain order, justice, and protection in society. Since these roles carry significant responsibility and moral weight (upholding justice, making decisions that affect communities, and often acting in dangerous or high-pressure situations) prayer is needed for wisdom, integrity, and discernment so they can fulfill their duties rightly. It also calls believers to show respect and honor to those in authority, recognizing their service as part of God’s design for societal good. Through prayer, the body of believers supports these leaders and protectors, asking God to guide their actions, strengthen their character, and help them carry out their responsibilities with fairness, courage, and accountability.

Join us anytime today at SOLID Christian Church as we pray for our nation, our community, our churches, and our families. The church will remain open until 7:00 p.m. for "pop-ins", and prayer stations have been prepared throughout the building.

Now more than ever, Christians must be devoted to prayer.

4/7/26: "Rise and Shine Lord Jesus"

Easter morning really does bring together so many of the deepest parts of the Christian faith: reflection, gratitude, joy, restoration, renewal and so many others. At SOLID Christian Church the combination of music, especially those powerful resurrection hymns (like “Up from the grave He arose”), communion as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice, and the collective focus on the resurrection story creates something that’s hard to match. When Easter Morning is celebrated lived out in the church, it’s a lived expression of hope and redemption! Further, there’s also something profound about how the sorrow of Good Friday gives way to the joy of Easter morning. What is better than victory over death?

Breaking News!! Rumor Has It . . .

That the 90's pop star legend, Britney Spears, may be coming out with a new single called "Quiz Me Baby One More Time." Insiders say that the former Mouseketeer was inspired by SOLID Christian Church's Bible Trivia Night, held on Wednesday March 11, in Holton, Kansas. While Spears refused to release too many details concerning the new album, she was willing to release one verse of the projected Diamond Record:

I must confess, I still believe (Still believe)
