💛 Recently we enjoyed a very special Simply Sisters ladies gathering. We were overwhelmed with the Goodness of God!🙌🏻 we had a full house as Amanda Talley encouraged us with God’s Word and her own testimony of God’s faithfulness as the Lord has walked with her through the peaks and valleys of life. She shared from the book of 1 Kings:

In 1 Kings 19:9, God asks Elijah, “What doest thou here, Elijah?” Not because God didn’t know where Elijah was, but because Elijah needed to recognize how fear and discouragement had brought him to a place God never intended him to remain.

Then God says, “Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD” (1 Kings 19:11). God’s answer to “What are you doing here?” was “Go forth and stand.” Come out of hiding, stand in My presence, listen for My voice, and remember: you are not alone, and I am not finished with you (1 Kings 19:12, 18).

What a timely encouragement. To God be the glory!!
