Message from our Ministry… Hebrew 12: 1. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Being prepared and overcoming challenges. We are all in different stages in our lives. We don’t know how much time we have. We have a race to run for God. Is how we enjoy our journey. It’s not a race to beat each other it’s a race to encourage each other to make it to the end. We are set for this race to go with one life to make it right and make it to the end. When we carry life’s baggage, it wears us down physically and spiritually. We need to lay it aside. There’s a concept of endurance we need to follow. We can’t sweat the small stuff. God is in control. The more we trust in God, the sweeter life will become. When the sparrow falls, God knows. How much more does He knows about us and our path in life. We are all in this race together with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord is with us, let’s enjoy the rest of the way.
How are we able to race without putting the weight aside? Christ says, His yoke is light. Whatever He puts on our way, we will be able to bear it for Him. When we look at Christ and what He did for us, enduring the cross. We need to know Christ was born to die but through Him we are born to live! We will be blessed in our journey when we give our lives to the Lord.
So our burdens, stress, anxiety or whatever is besetting us to not go forward in our race. Whatever is troubling us we need to bring it to the Lord to make it light unto us. Let’s finish our race!

Message from our Ministry…. Overcoming problems. Our nature is that we want things to be as good as it can be. It’s time to implement our faith. We have saved ourselves for rainy days, and those rainy days are here. The Lord is extending His hands to us. He says bring your burdens unto me. How do we achieve peace? Peace is sustaining, it allows us to endure, knowing that we will be fine. So we need to exercise our faith, put it into action. Faith means commitment in Hebrew. Jesus said don’t let your heart be troubled. In Jesus Christ we can overcome many situations. The Lord can see ahead, this is why we counsel with our Lord. He has the peace that will sustain us.

Scriptural Reference: Philippians 4: 7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Moroni Chapter 7: 38. For no man can be saved, according to the words of Christ, save they shall have faith in his name; wherefore, if these things have ceased, then has faith ceased also; and awful is the state of man, for they are as though there had been no redemption made.

Being in tune with God is a resource that never runs out. There is something that God gives through the Holy Spirit that never runs out. Faith, hope and charity, how ever we tap into these sources they will always be available through God. The Spirit of God lives in us, if we allow ourselves not to have peace, hope and charity our temple will be desolate. We will run out of energy, this is God’s plan of salvation. Our works will not get us into heaven is only Jesus Christ. We had bridge builders in our Church we need to continue to be bridge builders for the generation coming after us.

Scriptural Reference: Philippians 4: 11. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Message from our Ministry…Our hearts….How God can be our spiritual cardiologist. In Jeremiah 17: 9. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jesus has relied on our deceitful heart all along to bring His beautiful Gospel. God will put the desire in our hearts as long as we serve Him. If we let Him mold us He will turn us into something Amazing! We have a story to tell our stories and how we know our Christ. If the world hates is because we are doing right with the Lord in His eyes. We need to be more compassionate towards people as they come to know His Gospel. Our hearts are weakly deceitful but when God touches it we do amazing things to praise His name. We have a service and obligation to do for Him. We need to follow His Scriptures and guide us through everything. There’s not a fire that we have not walked through that He has not hold our hand through! Brothers and sisters we need to labor for our Lord. Step out in faith.
Words of the Lord… Thus saith the Lord…Did I not send messages
Scriptural Reference: Psalms 25: 8. Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. 9. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

We have one opportunity in our lives to serve our Lord. Our everyday lives if we try to serve Him just as we did at the waters edge, we seek the Lord and maintain ourselves in the road that He has for us. We will be able to stay in the path. Let’s take comfort in knowing that He is our creator and that some day we will seat with Him. Our heart can’t be good at times but we are thankful that there’s an atonement.
Scriptural Reference: Alma 32: poor in heart. 34: 32. For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors. 34:36. And this I know, because the Lord hath said he dwelleth not in unholy temples, but in the hearts of the righteous doth he dwell; yea, and he has also said that the righteous shall sit down in his kingdom, to go no more out; but their garments should be made white through the blood of the Lamb.

A self Check up! SZI 91. There’s Not nothing that Jesus cannot do. Physicians not always get it right! They treat the individuals with what they know to make them better. Luke was a physician. There is not anything that Jesus cannot do. God has blessed our minds with science and understanding, but we have limited understanding. When we go to the physician that created us, He is not going to get it wrong. When we go to our doctors sometimes we already diagnose ourselves and wait to see if the doctor agrees with us. They specialize in areas of medicine. Jesus knows it all and endured the sacrifice to heal the lame and blind and all the afflictions of the mind. The Lord is our great physician! We all been forgiven, heal of things that beset us. We don’t know why sometimes we are healed and sometimes we have to go further but He is in control.
Scriptural Reference: Luke 5: 27. And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. 28. And he left all, rose up, and followed him. 29. And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them. 30. But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? 31. And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. 32. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Hollywood Branch February Summary
Our Ministry brought us God’s inspired uplifting messages, enjoy!
Keeping the Commandments of God.
What good thing would you do today? There are no short cuts, we need to keep God’s commandments. Short cuts will sometimes put you back at the beginning. We need to love our neighbors as ourselves. God died for us as a human. We need to have the love of God for each other, we have something so valuable to share with the world. Not everything is going to be solve with material things. Sometimes people would need a positive message, uplifting.
Song: The world needs a friend like Jesus. The world needs more good actions. Our path to a good life is one that is comprise of good factors. The Lord told us the way to be good, let’s follow His commandments. We God all things are possible!
Scriptural Reference: Mathew 19: 16. And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17. And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19. Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 20. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21. Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
We always need to take the opportunity to share the Gospel. The young man in the Scripture saw some good attribute in Christ. If people don’t understand where salvation comes from, they trust in their own selves. We have to be prepared for anything that God wants us to do and present the image of God.
Scriptural Reference: Same Paul writes to Titus. Be ready in every good word. But after the kindness and love of our savior towards man, salvation came through Jesus.

Life will knock you out! Our visiting Brother Joe Ignagni speaking…But Spiritually we have to take the stand and say I should not be moved. I will cling to the rod of iron, to the Church of Jesus Christ. The Lord wants us to hang on and believe, do not loose your faith. There’s an enemy to God that wants to destroy us but God is greater. God knows and guides you through life, He guides us through this life for our eternal life. Christ went on for 3 years teaching the disciples. When the Romans guards took Jesus, the disciples panic. Within hours Peter denied Jesus Christ. Christ rises from the grave and the news even touch doubting Thomas. All the disciples saw Him again and still they didn’t know what to do. They were lost, they loved Jesus they loved the Lord, but Jesus understood them. He then went on teaching them the final lessons.
We shall not be moved. We will stand on the rock. The Church of Jesus Christ.
Scriptural Reference: James 1: 5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Psalms 16:7 I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. 8. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Psalms 62: 1. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. 2. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Acts 1:6. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7. And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11. Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
2: 1. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Our minds can be easily distracted. Just like our brother said sometimes we can be knocked out, and feel tossed around by life. We all have received the Holy Ghost when we rendered ourselves to Christ. Like the boxers everybody has a plan until you get punched in the face. We have our comforter, that gives us peace that surpass all understanding. We don’t have all the answers in life but we have the mind of the Father and the Son to guide us. Through the storms we have been fasten to the rock!
Subject
We need to be warrior. Our arm forces have trained soldiers. How do you think God feels about His army. Whatever is tossing us around, the mind of our Father is guiding us. He is the same God today as in the days of old. God is our refuge. God has designed that refuge within Jesus, is in Him!. Not just now through the pandemic but at all times. The power belongs unto God. All power is given to Him in heaven and earth. He will destroy all evil works. God sees all things, everything has been prophesied. God had to suffer all things, He was not moved. Let’s take courage in bearing the word of God, don’t let anything bother you.
Like our bro. Joe Ignagni said last Sunday, Life will knock you down! This week on Thursday February 18th early in the morning, sadly our Church building was vandalized, we are thankful to God that the fire was contained to the front and foyer of the building, we are thankful to all the brothers, sisters and friends who came by and helped and for all the donations.
On Saturday February 20th, we gathered at the back of the Church under a tent for our final goodbyes to our dear brother Dennis Moraco. Many beautiful testimonies, experiences and precious memories were shared along with pictures.

Today, Sunday the 21st. We met at our building with the doors and windows open because of the air quality after the fire. Many of the members were in zoom.
Our visitors: Bro. Tony Moraco and family, Bro. Bryan Griffith and Family, our friend Carlos.
There are needs in our lives always. We need to bring them to the altar. We need to seek the Glory of God. To go to a higher place we need to leave the valley. In Mark 9:1 He references to some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. The promises of God stand true, there are some Saints that passed on and saw their rewards, we are yet to see all Gods power. There’s an upward pull to serve the Lord and want to see the Glory of God in a greater way or a downward pull where we stay in the valley. Are we willing to go with Him! Understand the Lord Jesus is leading you. We need to be willing to take the first step and the Lord will follow. The Joy of the journey is that we don’t know what’s going to happen, but the Lord has it under control. We see things differently. The brother of Jared exercised great faith. Are we stronger today than we were yesterday, yes we are. Challenges always makes us grow. We wonder why all of Jesus disciples were not there through His transfiguration. Our Lord lets us adjust to our life’s climb. We need to aim to be one of the three, to grow higher Spiritually. We need to leave our fears, and concerns.
Our faith is being challenged today, are we willing to follow Him? We get comfortable being in the same spot. God will always meet our efforts we make for Him. He always calls us to climb. God will reveal all He has for you and the things He wants from you.
Scriptural Reference: Mark 9: 1. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. 2. And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
Ether 3 Brother of Jared.

God gives us choices. To climb the mountain or go the other way. The young man that Jesus asked to give all he had to the needy and follow Him, this young man was carrying things on him, not material things but spiritual things that was holding him back from climbing higher with the Lord, and chose the other path sorrowfully. Trust in God to guide and protect you! Job went through so much in His life but chose to follow the Lord. Lazarus’ death showed the Glory of God, when they rolled the stone and we a loud voice Jesus called Lazarus to come forth. Christ commanded to untied him. Is time to let go of the things that will bind you! Jesus unbind us from the things that we carry. We think is heavy but as we put them down and off we will see the Glory of God as we climb. Is time to stop settling for the things in the valley and hope for more as we climb. Our challenges today are there to clear the path for the young ones coming. Let’s climb higher where the Glory and Power awaits!
Words of the Lord brought through brother John. Thus saith the Lord, do you see what I see? Can you see it? Are your your eyes open to see what I see ? The choice is yours! Know that all that I have caused to be written will be performed. Thus saith the Lord.
Scriptural Reference: John 11:40-44
Are we stronger today! We challenge ourselves when we compare ourselves to others. Let’s climb higher.
The Lord is knocking! The Lord is inviting us to follow Him. He has given us a way to come in. This is not a one time thing, it’s forever. How many times do we plead to our Lord to rescue us. We need to support each other, calling, visiting, helping. There are people that are idled, we need to accept Jesus Christ fully. God is a forgiving God, is wonderful when we let Jesus into our lives. When Jesus comes and resides with you, how problems scattered, new ways open. Our soul will delight in fatness through Jesus Christ. You will have so many good testimonies, we will be able to write a book. We need to share our testimonies on the people we meet. Our seeds will be harvest by the Lord. We will feel our seed start to sprout, let it be a good fruit tree, that will branch out. The Gospel is about bringing Good tidings! He will strengthen and bring us through anything, let’s continue to open the door unto the Lord, so we will be a light and encouragement to the world. The Gospel brings joy, and fulfillment to our lives.
Scriptural Reference: Revelations 3:20. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Mark 4 The parable of the sower.
Jesus is always waiting for that knock. When we pray, He is already there, knowing what we will say or ask. Christ is not looking for temporary stay. He is omnipresent. He can reside in His Spirit with me and someone else at the same time. We can’t be in two places at the same time, but He can be anywhere, anytime. Nothing should stop us from anticipating the outpouring of His Spirit. Christ is always watching we are never alone. We always want to answer the door to our Lord Jesus, and hear that small tapping.
Our dear friend and future brother Carlos, answered the call and will be baptized next week March 7th.

Hollywood Branch January Summary
Our Ministry brought us God’s inspired uplifting messages, enjoy!
Putting our Trust in God...Trust in many levels can be a faith system that you commit to in serving the Lord. We need to keep our hearts close to the Lord.
SZ # 44 Like A Child.
Scriptural Reference: 1 Corinthian 2: 5. That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Jeremiah 17: 5. Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. 6. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 7. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. 8. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
2 Chronicles Chapters 14, 15, 17 King Asa recognizing Gods power and trust versus a King.

The Joy of the Lord is our Strength...As long as the Lord is with us we can be comforted. Just like the weather outside is cold and inside we are warm and cozy, is just the way God should be in our hearts. No matter what we go through, we know God will comfort us. God can do all things. Nehemiah’s occupation was to build walls. Taking 52 days to rebuild walls around their city was not easy but the Joy in the Lord was their strength. He enquire of God.
In the Book of Mormon when Jesus came to administer here, He omitted “Thy Kingdom come!” instead, He prayed “Thy will be done!” because He was speaking about His Kingdom here on earth.
Situations in our lives sometimes don’t go away, but they are less heavy when we give it to the Lord. With God’s Joy and strength we can do anything! We need to believe His Kingdom is coming and work for it, finding joy in the Lord because God is in the matter. The best strength you can ever have, is knowing that we serve a God that has overcome the world. We can scape the world worries and have a joy in the everlasting love of God.
If we occupied the chose land we must follow the Commandments of God. Dr. Martin Luther King said and I quote… we have confusion in the land…I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!
God persevering and you enduring, and in time we will receive our reward. No matter if is in the 1960’s or 2020’s, is a wonderful feeling to look forward and know God is with us.
Scriptural Reference: Nehemiah 8: For the Joy of the Lord is our Strength! and Galatians 6: 9. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

God wants to be our hero...The excitement of what the Lord has for us. Let Him be the one you reverence and honor. In our lives we should not be carrying things that weight us down. We need to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, as our hero Jesus finishes the race for us. When we take His name upon us, and go through this life, we will see our hero at the end. He had to face the cross for us. He is our author, he is writing our story, he created us. Let’s be joyful when we see God’s goodness in our lives. Let us not be weary when we serve and follow Him. Let’s run our race with patience, so we can endure and have courage. Our sins can go from scarlet red to white as snow, we are justified before God, if we bear the atoning blood of Christ.
There are many things we can praise God regardless what we go through. Let’s take encouragement that When He was on the cross We were on His mind. He did it because He is the author and the finisher. He took ownership, so let’s take ownership of our hero Jesus Christ.
Running the race! Don’t let anything set you back. Think about it, would you want to be separated from Gods love? We need to ask God to help us in every challenge we have. He wants us to take action for our soul. How are we running, is it the right pace? You are encompassed with Gods presence, no matter what anxiety, worry you have! He doesn’t gives us anything we can’t handle. He showed us the way to salvation and he won’t close that road before we get there!
We read in Scriptures how many people had challenges. We need to overcome our challenges knowing we serve an awesome God. We need to put the Joy in front of us and take up righteousness.

Scriptural Reference: Hebrews 12: 1.
Isaiah 1: 18. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

November Meeting Abiding in the shadows with the presence of God.

Scriptural Reference: 2 Kings 6: 8. Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp. 9. And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down. 10. And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice. 11. Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not show me which of us is for the king of Israel? 12. And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. To the end.

We need to trust in God and have faith within ourselves. We need to live our lives minute to minute relying on Gods protection. We need to abide and be closed to God. We need to take the accounts that we encountered in our lives and take it to count and apply it to our lives. When we are one with God, He will see us through to protect us and provide for us. This is why we put our souls in God’s hands. Jesus will always have our backs. This is why we are here today to praise and worship Him. The devil seeks to destroy us but Jesus is always a step ahead of him. God wins at the end, He truly comes for us.

God’s great commission is based on charity. We need to value each brother and sister. We need to pray for each other, our jobs, our homes, our families. There so much opposition but God is giving us a shield and light. We need to teach the world the word of God. So they can come to the light and be strengthened. There are terrible things happening around the world. We need unity within the people of God. God is an essential worker. We need to pray that God will bring good tidings. We need to be convicted in God, to partake in His plans.

Sunday Service
Scriptural Reference: Joshua 21: 43. And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. 44. And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand. 45. There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

God is all powerful today as He has been in the past. God cannot lie and He is truthful in everything He does. As God was with Moses, He also was with Joshua. As we are in the season of celebrating His birth, we need to take courage and know that God is with us. As we remember how many times brother Dennis has delivered Sermons encouraging us with positive messages no matter what our circumstances were. God has a purpose and he moves in mysterious ways. He never leaves us alone, He is always with us. When we suffer loss here of our loved ones, we are not to mourn but be happy for their reward with Christ Jesus.
We had great pillars in the Church who went unto their rewards and we like Joshua have to go on and serve the Lord and do His will. One of God’s purpose is to work, and always find the way to bless His people. There’s not anything too hard for God and His promises are true! When our lives are truly shaken there’s something that triggers God and He comes to our rescue. What God speaks to you, let it rest in your soul. Stay focus on Him, be true to Him and He will be true to us.

Each one of us have personal experiences from our Lord. He comforts us, we all have this common thing with Him in being an awesome God. We have seen Him heal people, give employment to someone in need, our burdens be lifted. We are not forgotten, we have His Spirit and we need to magnify His Spirit through sharing our hope, charity and understand some people can’t handle what they are giving but we need to share our hope with them. We know a God that is powerful, he has led us through many wars like the Civil war. God delivered us from all evil, He is merciful God, He will give us the means to overcome. He wants to bless us.
