Temple Sinai of Hollywood Temple Sinai is a vibrant, inclusive, egalitarian, multi-generational Conservative synagogue. Rabbi Randall J. Today, Temple Sinai boasts over 300 families.

Founded on June 15, 1942, Temple Sinai of Hollywood moved into its first permanent quarters on Hollywood Boulevard in early 1943. In 1946, Rabbi Max Kaufman became the first spiritual leader of Temple Sinai. Seven years later, Rabbi David Shapiro assumed the pulpit, a position he held until 1980, when he became Rabbi Emeritus. Konigsburg was our spiritual leader from 1990-2006. In 2006, Rabbi Dr.

Gideon Goldenholz became the spiritual leader of the Temple Sinai family and continues to serve the local Conservative needs of the community. In 1994, Temple Sinai moved into its current facility on North 46th Avenue, a campus which includes the Rabbi David Shapiro Sanctuary, Zinn Daily Chapel, Temple Sinai Early Childhood Education Center, Paul B. Anton Religious School, administrative offices, ballroom, and Kiddush lounge. Our award-winning Kenneth and Harriet Kasselman Early Childhood Education Center is among the finest early childhood programs in South Florida and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

So thrilled to have Robert Boo come to speak at our annual Pride Shabbat! It was a meaningful and joyful service and we’re so glad to have such a supportive and loving community here at Sinai.

The Pride Center extends its heartfelt gratitude to Temple Sinai of Hollywood for the opportunity to have CEO Robert Boo participate in this year's Pride Shabbat service.

During his remarks, Robert reflected on his first visit to Israel. Through stories that were both humorous and deeply moving, he shared lessons about belonging, remembrance, and the importance of creating communities where every person is welcomed, valued, and able to live authentically.

Pride Shabbat serves as a powerful reminder that faith, inclusion, and community can come together to build understanding and strengthen our collective commitment to dignity and respect for all people.

We are grateful to the clergy, leadership, and congregation of Temple Sinai of Hollywood for their warm hospitality and for creating such a meaningful and inspiring morning. The Pride Center is honored to stand alongside partners who continue to foster acceptance, compassion, and hope.
