☀️ Today our Group 1 (ages 2–4) and Group 2 (ages 5–6) children learned the Bible lesson “God Made the Sun” from Genesis 1:16.
We talked about how God made the sun to shine and help things grow. ☀️🌱
🎨 The children also made a Sunshine Craft to remind them that God made the sun.
💬 Ask your child:

• What does the sun help grow? 🌸

🌱 New Generation Parents – Ages 7–11
Today’s Bible lesson for our 7–11 year olds was Growing in Faith from Matthew 13:31–32, the Parable of the Mustard Seed 📖.
We talked about how faith can start small, just like a tiny seed, but it can grow strong when we trust God, pray, read His Word, and follow Him. The children learned that spending time with God helps their faith grow bigger every day.
🌱 Craft Activity:
The children made a Faith Seed Cup 🪴 and planted a seed to remind them that just like a plant grows when it is cared for, our faith grows when we spend time with God.

• What are some ways our faith can grow? 📖🙏
• What does your seed remind you about faith?

Good afternoon
Our 2–4 and 5–6 groups had a wonderful time today in New Generation Kids!
Today’s lesson was “God Grows With Us” based on Luke 2:52 —
“Jesus grew bigger, learned new things, and made God and people happy.”
We talked about how even Jesus grew when He was a child. Just like plants need water and sunshine to grow, we grow when we pray, learn God’s Word, obey our parents, and show love to others. God doesn’t just watch us grow — He helps us grow every step of the way. 🌱✨
🌼 Today’s Craft:
The children created a “God Helps Me Grow” flower craft. Some flowers included simple reminders, including prayer, love, learn, and help to show ways we grow with God.
This hands-on activity helped them understand that just like flowers bloom over time, God is helping them bloom into who He created them to be. 🌸
