Message:
Today, we are looking at a topic extremely relevant to the times in which we find ourselves and I will like you to pay a very close attention to this teaching and make sure you understand it very well.
We are looking at ‘The ministry of personal deliverance’.
The current happenings have made very very strong statement. Statements like ‘the do it approach’ that we teach in MFM is still the best. We teach you to be your own prophet, we teach you to be your own visioneer, we teach you to be able to stand by yourself so that you can stand on your own wherever you are without any assistance by any pastor, bishop or priest.
The situation has made a very strong statement that you can access God by yourself. You don’t need to pass through third parties or consult any pastor, any minister, any general overseer, any superintendent, you can connect God by yourself.
Your relationship with God and salvation is an individual affair with the Almighty, it is not something that is cooperate; it is making that kind of statement.
The current situation is making a statement that it is good to build your own spiritual life and be able to connect God and pray privately by yourself. This is very very important, a ‘do it yourself’ approach.
May the Lord open our understanding and damage our ignorance in the name of Jesus!
Mark 16:17, it means that you have the right and the authority to lay your hands on yourself too to recover.
The situation has now arisen where those who say ‘oh, let me go and attend deliverance services’, the Deliverance services or deliverance grounds are closed now. Going to church for deliverance is close now and the deliverance ministers are unable to conduct the kind of services they used to do, the church buildings are closed.
But there is something called the ministry of personal deliverance. You can actually carry out deliverance to some level on yourself.
This teaching of personal deliverance is also part of a ‘do it yourself thing’. You can become a deliverance minister to yourself.
After all, when you do it, the first beneficiary of that anointing is yourself before anyone else. Follow this teaching and the Lord will help you mightily in the name of Jesus!
We take a look at the book of Luke 1:74-75, a very deep scripture, this is why salvation is the first leg in deliverance. Colossians 1:12-13, it is useless ministering deliverance to someone who has not transferred his allegiance from the kingdom of satan to the kingdom of God. The position of the person will be worse as written in
Matthew 12:43-45
We now ask the question, What do we mean by deliverance? There are many definitions of deliverance and there are many things that can be grouped under the For the purpose of this teaching today, we will be able to look at 20 definitions very quickly:
1. Deliverance is when you stop the invasion of darkness into your life. I pray that any invasion of darkness in any life shall be terminated in the name of Jesus!
2. Deliverance is the process by which God sets free his people who are oppressed or possessed by the enemy.
3. Deliverance is to detach every power of darkness from your destiny.
4. Deliverance is to close the door opened to the enemy.
5. Deliverance is to dismantle the evil platform prepared for you by your ancestors. I’m praying for somebody listening to me that every evil platform prepared for you by your ancestors shall be scattered in the name of Jesus! I’m also praying that if there is any evil ancestral oil on your head, that oil must dry up now in the name of Jesus!
6. Deliverance is to damage the works of satan in your life.
7. Deliverance is to undo the spiritual heavy burdens placed on people. May you not carry the load of the enemy in the name of Jesus!
8. Deliverance is to break satanic yokes.
9. Deliverance is to possess your possession.
10. Deliverance is to escape from every satanic prison no matter what name they describe the prison.
11. Deliverance is to dismantle every internal and external stronghold militating against your destiny.
12. Deliverance is to eject evil tenant occupying the habitation of your life.
13. Deliverance is to serve quit notice on every infirmity.
14. Deliverance is break every evil covenants and curses.
15. Deliverance is to destroy the chains of darkness.
16. Deliverance is to vomit the food consumed at the table of the devil.
17. Deliverance is to break away from very enchantment of the enemy.
18. Deliverance is to erase with the blood of Jesus very contrary handwriting working against your life.
19. Deliverance is send back evil arrow to where they came from.
20. Deliverance is uprooting every evil plantation.
When we talk about captives, there are two categories of captives:
1. The prey of the mighty, This is written in Isaiah 49:24: these are those the enemy is imposing captivity on because of their ignorance, because of their prayerlessness, because they are not taking advantage of the facility Jesus gave to them so the next takes advantage of this kind of people. Their captivity is not because they have sinned, the enemy is just taking advantage of them.
2. The lawful captives: those who are taken captives because of their own sins, their own habits, their own misbehavior or inherited sins.
When you understand the ministry of personal deliverance:
- You will keep yourself from being terrorized.
- You will keep your self healthy when you understand the ministry of personal deliverance
- You will keep yourself from being caged.
- You will keep yourself safe physically and spiritually in every sense of the matter when you understand the ministry of personal deliverance
- When you understand personal deliverance, you free yourself from demonic pollution.
To execute thorough deliverance, several things are necessary:
1. Repentance: repentance closes any door you have opened to the enemies, repentance also weakens the position of the enemy, it restores the authority back to the believer and then the believer is able to fight back, repentance is the first thing.
2. You need the blood of Jesus.
3. We need the word of God
4. We need the voice of the Lord Psalm 29:3-5
5. We need the sword of the Lord, it can be used by faith to cut the enemy into pieces and cut the ropes of the enemy.
6. The anointing oil.
7. Laying on of hands. Healing and casting out demons can be achieved by the laying on of hands.
8. By commanding with authority.
9. Breaking vows
10. Breaking evil covenants.
11. Participating in united aggressive payers.
12. Baptism of water.
13. Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
14. Cleansing of home.
15. Confession of sins of the ancestors.
16. Calling the fire of God.
17. Bringing in the power of the Holy Spirit
A demon is a spirit, which means it acts like wind or breadth. Most evil spirit they live through the breathing passage or by opening in the body. When we ask them to go, they go through the openings in the body.
The manifestations vary according to persons. Also, there may not even be any manifestation, but they still go out anyway. Also know that if multiple spirits are responsible for one problem, all of them must be removed before total victory is assured. So you have to pray until something happens.
The purpose of this information I’m giving to you now is to enable you do a self deliverance at home for yourself. This self deliverance exercise will include what you should do and prophetic actions you an take. All these actions are prophetic, they are not rituals.
Once you are ready for a personal deliverance:
- Step 1, you start with a praise and worship particularly if you noticed you’ve been attacked, you’ve been having weird dreams, nightmares, you woke up and something has fed you with what you don’t want to eat, you woke up and someone has fired a bullet at you in the dream, you woke up and you’re feeling lifeless. You can sing songs of praises to God or the use of hymn books.
- Step 2, confess out loud scriptures that are promising deliverance, not just mumbling words. Luke 10:19, make it personal. Ephesians 1:7, Romans 16:20, Revelations 12:11, Colossians 2:14-15, Galatians 3:13, Psalm 91:13, 2 Timothy 4:18
- Step 3, break covenant and curses to destroy their legal hold. Pray simple payers like I break every evil curse and evil covenants working against my life by the power in the blood of Jesus, that are simple prayers with great result and you spend some time on that.
- Step 4, You bind all the spirits attached or connected to the curses and covenants that I have just broken in the name of Jesus! Breaking the covenants is not enough, you now ask the spirit to leave.
- Step 5, lay one hand on your head and another on your stomach or the navel area. Holy Ghost fire, burn from the top of my head to the sole of my feet in the name of Jesus! Don’t rush at this level, take time to soak your self in prayers. Do not be afraid if you notice that you’re swaying or you’re staggering or feeling dizzy.
- Step 6, begin to saturate yourself with the blood of Jesus. Blood of Jesus, enter into my body, soul and spirit in the name of Jesus! While still saturating yourself with the blood of Jesus prayers, continue to say I drink the blood of Jesus! You must begin to cough, you might begin to vomit, don’t be afraid.
- Step 7, it is now you are able to demand firmly in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that any spirit that is not of God in you should leave you. Begin to order the spirit to release you and cast them out to leave you. If sickness is the problem, begin to address it directly to go now and I prevail upon you in the name of Jesus! Begin to breadth in and out and expel them, you may be surprise that strange things will begin to happen. Repeat this stage over and over again, it will be able to flush all all demonic possessions in your life.
- Step 8, when you have finish the expulsion stage, you then ask for the fresh infilling of the Holy Ghost. Holy Ghost, fill me to the brim, Holy Ghost overshadow my life in the name of Jesus.
- When you are done with this session, close the session in praise.
Self deliverance does the following:
1. It keeps you from getting sick.
2. Self deliverance removes the evil seed of the enemy.
3. Self deliverance charges your body with fire.
4. Self deliverance uproots evil plantation and builds your confidence.
5. Self deliverance before you go to bed will free you from ally hose attacks that are happening to people when they sleep. Some people, it is when they sleep that the attacks will come and they battle and battle in that dream but if you practice self deliverance before your dreams, the attacks will stop and they will not be able to achieve what they are achieving.
What you need to do:
- You need to pray also that the walls of fire should surround Zachariah 2:5
- You need to pray for cover with the Blood of Jesus.
- As written in Psalm 34:7, You need to pray that the angels of God surround you. Pray if you notice you suffer from night attacks.
- You need to repent from every known sin, you need to be a child of God before you start doing personal deliverance.
Bottomline:
One final word of caution, for a person to be delivered, you must want to be delivered. Self deliverance must not be done because of pride (you’re not willing to tell people what you have been doing before because of shyness or fear of public embarrassment), your motive of self deliverance has to be very pure before it works for you.
Remember that deliverance is a process and the length of time it takes depends on several things. It depends on the length of time the spirit has stayed in a person.
The strength and reinforcement of the enemy/spirit also will decide the length of time. The experience and degree of anointing will decide a quite a lot in the ministry. The willingness of the person to be delivered is another factor. The knowledge of the word of God and your hatred for sin will determinant factor of how deliverance can be easy for you.
For self deliverance to be effective, a great deal of discipline is necessary.
You must also remember that a bo***ge can be weak or strong. A weak one can be gotten rid of quickly whereas a stronghold can take a longer time. You will not realize the strength of a bo***ge until you faithful and persistently work on it. You must remember that if you do t get rid of a foothold, a foothold can graduate to a stronghold if left unaddressed.
These Beloveth is the ministry of personal deliverance. Now in a situation like this that a lot of people are being attacked in their dreams and they don’t know what to do, you have a way out now.
- Make sure you’re a child of God.
- Make sure you repent from every known sin.
- Make sure you do not have any evil habit in your life.
- Carry out the ministry of personal deliverance.
