The funeral service for Paul Collis will be here at the church on Monday, June 15, at 10:00 AM. There will be a luncheon following the service.

As far as I know, there is no scheduled visitation period prior to the service.

Burial will take place in our cemetery at a later date.

Be in prayer for Lark and their extended family.

288 years ago today, John Wesley wrote the following in his journal:
"In the evening I went very unwillingly to a society in Aldersgate Street, where one was reading Luther’s preface to the Epistle to the Romans. About a quarter before nine, while he was describing the change which God works in the heart through faith in Christ, I felt my heart strangely warmed. I felt I did trust in Christ, Christ alone, for salvation; and an assurance was given me that He had taken away my sins, even mine, and saved me from the law of sin and death."

Tomorrow is Pentecost Sunday!

It's also the 288th anniversary of John Wesley's Aldersgate experience! He wrote the following journal entry to mark the event.
