Happy Feast Day of Saint Francis! Today, we come together to honor the patron saint of animals and the environment, reflecting on the beauty of creation that surrounds us. In the spirit of this special day, many Episcopal churches across Mississippi are hosting Blessing of the Animals services throughout October. We warmly invite you to bring your beloved furry friends for a joyful service filled with reflection and community, or drop a photograph and/or their name in the comments below.

Pictured here are some of the Allin House staff pets, including cats, dogs, deer, and even a chicken!

Bishop Wells will be sending a virtual blessing to each pet shared. This is a beautiful opportunity for us to come together as a community, celebrating not just our animals but the bonds we share as a Diocese.
