ECLECTIC Eclectic Church CHURCH has a very important need right now and we have a brief window to respond.
We have been at Eclectic Church for 7 years...this month began our 8th year. We have done as much as we can to improve God's house but in all of these years we have only done things with cash as God provided. We are a debt free church and will remain that way as long as we can. We have not even allowed the church to have a credit card so that we don't end up any kind of debt. But that means many times we just can't do what needs to be done or that we want to get done until God moves in the financial realms. Sometimes he uses people in the house but many times for projects such as the one I am going to share...it comes from outside our church walls.
The floors in every building desperately needs to be changed. This is a BIG TICKET Item but an owner of a flooring company has presented us with an amazing opportunity to do the flooring for all 3 buildings. This company had ordered a large amount of flooring for a large church and the project went bankrupt. The warehouse is now stuck with the flooring and are willing to sell us brand new tile flooring and carpet tiles for $1 a square foot, The flooring that they were left holding the bag on was $13 a square feet originally but they have offered it to us at $1 a square foot. This is an amazing price. we need 6015 square feet if we measure perfectly but it is best to order a little more in case we need to repair anything in the future. The 6015 square feet would have cost us at $13 a square foot (commercial grade) $78,195.00. We have been given a price of $6015.00.
THE PRICE IS AMAZING but even at that great deal it is not in our budget at the moment. A large number of our people at the church are in recovery or have come through recovery from drugs and alcohol and some have come out of prison. NOT everyone...but a large number. We can not go into debt despite this deal. We don't feel God would have us to get in debt after 7 years of being debt free.
We are asking friends of our ministry to pray about helping us to improve God's house by helping us purchase this brand new flooring. We are excited at the possibility of finally doing this but we refuse to place the church under the weight of debt. At this price the flooring could go quickly, but if it is the time for us to do each building...God will make a way.

We just felt we would see if anyone wanted to partner with us. We will do whatever we can based on what the Lord provides. If you use any of the giving platforms, please designate it for the flooring. We are trying to secure funds by the weekend because we are not asking them to hold anything. That would not be fare to them and they are already taking a huge loss. They have to empty their warehouse.
