Today was a great day at GTAME for Lay Day. Sis. Jeannie Rivers, SC Conference Lay Organization President, reminded us of how Lay and Clergy can work together in more ways than we think.

Our young people sang to the glory of God today. The spirit was very high throughout the service. To God be the Glory for the great things He is doing with our young people.

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 🙏🏽❤️

What a glorious day to rejoice and celebrate with a daughter of the soil out of Greater Target A.M.E Church, the Rev. Shontovia Capers on her first pastoral appointment in the African Methodist Episcopal Church! 🎉

Congratulations, Rev. Capers, on your appointment to Pine Hill A.M.E. Church in Sumter, South Carolina! May God continue to order your steps, strengthen your ministry, and bless you abundantly as you embark on this exciting new chapter of servant leadership.

🎉❤️ LET'S SHOWER REV. CAPERS WITH LOVE AND CONGRATULATIONS! ❤️🎉

Join us in celebrating this wonderful milestone! Drop a ❤️, share a word of encouragement, or leave a congratulatory message in the comments as we lift Rev. Capers in prayer and celebrate what God is doing in her life and ministry!

🙏🏽 Our Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the divine calling upon Rev. Capers' life. As she steps into this new season of pastoral leadership, we pray that You will anoint her afresh, grant her wisdom beyond her years, strengthen her hands for the work ahead, and fill her heart with unwavering faith, courage, and compassion. May every sermon she preaches be Spirit-filled, every prayer she offers be heaven-directed, and every life she touches experience the transforming power of Your love.

Lord, bless the entire Pine Hill A.M.E. Church family. Unite pastor and congregation in love, purpose, and vision. May this appointment mark the beginning of a powerful season of spiritual growth, renewed hope, transformed lives, and kingdom impact. Let no weapon formed against this ministry prosper, and may Your favor surround Rev. Capers as a shield.

May the God who called her continue to equip her, the God who appointed her continue to sustain her, and the God who began this good work bring it to glorious completion! 🙌🏽

To God be ALL the glory for the great things He has done, is doing, and SHALL do! In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, AMEN! 🙏🏽❤️

Congratulations again, Rev. Shontovia Capers! Your next chapter is covered in prayer! ❤️🎉
