St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Holliston MA We are a small church with a big heart. Join us on Sundays at 8 & 10 am. ALL are welcome here. St. People of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join us.

Michael’s is a warm, vibrant and growing community of faith and support. First and foremost we are a community that comes together for worship - to experience, share and treasure our relationship with God, and together to make known our love for God’s presence and His mercy and care for His people. Abounding with activity, our demographics are younger than many parishes in our diocese. We welcome

all newcomers to bring them into our family of faith, as well as honor and respect all members of our parish. Our parishioners come from not only Holliston, but many surrounding communities, including Hopkinton, Millis, Ashland, Medway, Franklin, and Milford.

Our grounds are particularly pretty right now. The memorial garden is a perfect, peaceful spot to rest & reflect.

Pentecost.
One of the prayers found in the Psalms pleads, “Do not cast me away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me.” Again and again, the story the Bible tells is not of a distant God occasionally intervening, but of a world already saturated with divine breath.
So when the Spirit of God violently blows back into the life of the Church at Pentecost, it is less of a church birthday and more of a family reunion.

And maybe that is part of what Pentecost reveals. Not that God suddenly decided to enter the world, but that humanity finally began recognizing the Spirit had been there from the beginning—moving through creation, through prophets and poets, through frightened disciples and ordinary people trying to remain faithful.
