Every time I would ask brother Bob to pray he would always use this phrase at the end of his prayer…”if there’s anyone here that doesn’t know Jesus as their personal Savior I pray that they will make that decision before it’s everlasting too late.”

This evening, I just led a young man to the Lord in my office… and guess what… he now knows Jesus as his personal Savior… and he did it before it was everlasting too late!

I believe there was rejoicing in heaven this evening. I miss brother Bob, but his prayer still rings in my ears!

“The gates of hell shall not prevail.” It’s been a tough year at HBC. A never ending battle… it seems.

I just finished trouble shooting some lights that were hit by lightning… I got 4 of the 10 working so that our Spanish can have their service in their chapel tomorrow… our sign now needs fixing as well. I went to the auditorium to get our PowerPoint set up for our service tomorrow and the funeral. As I walked back into the hallway I noticed that the hallway was still at 86°… after the AC had been running for about an hour. I went outside and found out the condenser wasn’t working. Thankfully, it was just a capacitor that had somehow fried. Now I’ve got that fixed and I’m finally sitting at my desk to finish up stuff for the service in the morning. It’s been a long day!

If the devil fights this hard, then we must be doing something right.

If you compromise on doctrine, you will compromise on anything.

Eternal security is not debatable. Adding works, baptism, etc to salvation is damnable. Separation in the Christian walk is still preach-able.

Numbers and followers is not always measurable. Being biblical is… biblical.

From our missionary (and Hollister raised young lady… Rachelle is Pastor Jason’s daughter). Would you please pray? They have had many issues with mold… the frame breaking because of all the weight… and other problems. The money they’re raising is to help them get a new RV since the other one is now slowly becoming unusable and unsafe.
