Pastor Aaron spoke today on the Joy of the Lord

Joy
1 Peter 1: 8-9
8. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
9. for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
*Bible describes JOY as a gift to us
Philippians. 4: 6-7
6. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
King Solomon Was a wealthy man and speaks in
Ecclesiastes 2:26
26. To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom,knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God.This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
King David says
Psalms 16: 9-10
9. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,
10. because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful-one see decay.
Acts 13: 34-35
34. God raised him from the dead so that he will never be subject to decay. As God has said, “I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.’
35. So it is also stated elsewhere: “You will not let your holy one see decay.’
Matthew 19: 26
26. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
We all get to much in our head !
Like 15:7

Hebrews 11:6
