In 2025, we will continue our series on Biblical Women of Faith.
We will consider how their stories point us to the Messiah Jesus, and how they encourage us to trust and worship God. He is the hero of their stories!

We will look at vignettes from biblical women including Anna, the Canaanite woman, Martha, Priscilla, Deborah, Hannah, Abigail, Esther, Elizabeth, and Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Refreshment in the Word is an interdenominational women’s ministry.
Our goal is to help women develop a flourishing relationship with Christ through personal time in His Word, and in community with other women.

Please join us for a time of spiritual refreshment in a worshipful,
retreat type meeting which includes personal time in Scripture,
small group discussion, prayer, music, and a live talk.

 Preteen/teen girls are welcome to join us.

Save the date! You are invited to our next meeting of Refreshment in the Word on Saturday, March 23. For 2024 we are reflecting on biblical women of faith in the Old and New Testaments. On March 23 we will prepare for Easter by reflecting on Luke 10:38-42 and John 12:1-11, about Mary of Bethany: a heart of worship.

We will meet on March 23 at Christ Fellowship in Hollister at 9:15-11 AM. (Note the new start time). Come early for fellowship and refreshments! Our retreat type meetings include personal time in Scripture, small group discussion (in English and in Spanish), prayer, music, and a live talk.

We will also meet simultaneously, via zoom, on March 23 at 9:30-11:00 AM. The zoom meeting includes a small group to discuss the Bible passage. The zoom meeting then combines with our regular meeting for music and an encouraging talk. Please let us know if you would like to join us in person or using zoom on March 23. We will send the zoom login only to those who request it and to those who regularly attend Refreshment in the Word.

We encourage you to invite English and Spanish speaking ladies, and their pre-teen/teen girls. Save the date! You are invited to our next meeting of Refreshment in the Word on Saturday, November 18. This month we are meeting on the 3rd Saturday due to Thanksgiving weekend. On Nov. 18 we will spend time in Ephesians 3:14-21, a prayer for strength to know Christ's love. Our meeting will include a fellowship lunch until noon.

We will meet on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Christ Fellowship in Hollister at 9:30-noon. Our retreat type meetings include personal time in Scripture, small group discussion (in English and Spanish), prayer, music, and a live talk. Lunch will be provided. For our fellowship time, think about what Scripture that we've studied in 2023 has been most meaningful to you, and how it has impacted your prayer life.

For those who can't join us in person, we will also meet simultaneously, using zoom, on Nov. 18 at 9:45-11:00 AM. The zoom meeting includes a small group to discuss the Bible passage. The zoom meeting then combines with our regular meeting for music and an encouraging talk. Please let us know if you would like to join us in person or using zoom on Nov. 18. We will meet on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Christ Fellowship in Hollister at 9:30-11 AM. Come early for fellowship and refreshments! Our retreat type meetings include personal time in Scripture, small group discussion (in English and Spanish), prayer, music, and a live talk.
