Victory Point Church

Victory Point Church A church of everyday disciples seeking to join God in bringing the culture of heaven to earth.

VictoryPoint is a church of everyday disciples learning to live as families on mission spreading the culture of heaven on earth. We strive to embody the Good News of the Kingdom of God in our families, community and to the ends of the earth by making and multiplying disciples who give their whole life to being like Jesus and doing what he did.

God is always at work, and we love hearing the stories of His faithfulness in the lives of our church family.

This past Sunday, Levi shared about God's provision, and the seeds of gospel transformation that were plated during his recent Overland expedition. We encourage you to listen! https://www.youtube.com/live/ZArnYqradxA?si=MKgcFqSvndBOjqs_&t=1060

Today we celebrate and honor the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who faithfully love, lead, encourage, and point others toward Christ.

Thank you for the countless ways you reflect God's care through your strength, sacrifice, wisdom, and presence. Your influence reaches far beyond what you may ever see.

As we celebrate today, we also recognize that Father's Day can bring a mix of emotions. We pray that every person would experience the comfort, love, and faithfulness of our perfect Heavenly Father.

"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God." — 1 John 3:1

Happy Father's Day!

Over the past two summers, we have covered Acts 1-17, so today we reviewed the storyline we are living in and how we continue to live out the story. Slides from this week’s message in the book of Acts in the series "UNSTOPPABLE: the good news on the move."

In a world filled with uncertainty, division, setbacks, and people searching for hope, it's easy to feel small or unsure of where you fit into God's plan.

This Sunday we launch our new series, "Unstoppable: The Good News on the Move," with an overview of Acts 1–17. We'll discover how God used ordinary people, empowered by His Spirit, united as a spiritual family, and sent into everyday places to bring the hope of Jesus to others. Along the way, we'll see how God works through challenges, breaks down barriers, and continues His mission through His people.

The story of Acts isn't just about what God did then—it's an invitation to join what He is doing now.

There are few things more powerful than watching people publicly declare their faith in Jesus through baptism. A couple weeks ago, we celebrated stories of God's grace, lives being transformed, and the joy of taking a next step of obedience and faith.

Each baptism represents a unique journey, but they all point to the same truth: God is still changing lives.

Join us in celebrating these individuals and praying for them as they continue to grow in their relationship with Christ. We are grateful to be a church family that gets to witness moments like these together!

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Every Sunday, volunteers arrive early, stay late, and serve behind the scenes to help create a welcoming environment, lead us in worship, invest in our children, and come alongside our students. Throughout the school year, volunteers serve during the week by mentoring elementary students, praying for those students and their mentors, and packing weekend food bags for families at Great Lakes Elementary School.

This Sunday, during the Gathering, we'll recognize them and express our gratitude for the many ways they serve our church and community. Come ready to cheer them on!

If you've been thinking about getting involved, this Sunday is also a great opportunity to learn more. After the Gathering, our volunteer teams with current openings will be set up throughout the lobby to answer questions, share information about their ministries, and help you discover a place to serve. And yes—there will be treats!

Today, we honor and celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, and mother figures who reflect God's love through their strength, compassion, wisdom, and faith.

Motherhood is filled with beautiful joys, quiet sacrifices, endless prayers, and unwavering love. We thank God for the women who nurture hearts, encourage faith, and point generations toward Christ.

We also recognize that Mother's Day can carry many emotions. Today, we hold close those who are grieving, longing, remembering, or hurting.

This Sunday, we are continuing our look at the book of Romans, and discovering more about what it means to live FULLY alive! We are also encouraging you to bring your paper Bibles to church. There’s something different that happens as you engage with the text and mark it up while free from the digital distractions that fill our days. Need a paper Bible? We'd love to help.
