At Victory Point we believe we are called to show and share the love of Jesus to everyone, everywhere—from the neighborhoods around us to the nations around the world.

God is always at work, and we love hearing the stories of His faithfulness through the lives of our church family. Recently, Gerrit traveled to Peru and Andrew traveled to Mozambique with Overland Missions, stepping into communities and witnessing the hope of Jesus change lives.

This past Sunday, they shared about God’s incredible provision and the seeds of gospel transformation planted during their recent Overland expeditions. Stories like these remind us that God’s mission reaches far beyond our walls, and He invites us to be part of what He is doing wherever we are. Listen for yourself and be inspired!

More than 20 years ago, the Buursma family followed God's call to serve in the Philippines. While their family has grown and changed over the years, one thing has remained constant—their unwavering commitment to sharing the love of Jesus.

Their story is a powerful reminder of what it means to live a Jesus-shaped life, making the love of Jesus known so lives can be transformed—from neighborhoods to the nations.

Today we celebrate and honor the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who faithfully love, lead, encourage, and point others toward Christ.

Thank you for the countless ways you reflect God's care through your strength, sacrifice, wisdom, and presence. Your influence reaches far beyond what you may ever see.

As we celebrate today, we also recognize that Father's Day can bring a mix of emotions. We pray that every person would experience the comfort, love, and faithfulness of our perfect Heavenly Father.

Over the past two summers, we have covered Acts 1-17, so today we reviewed the storyline we are living in and how we continue to live out the story. Slides from this week’s message in the book of Acts in the series "UNSTOPPABLE: the good news on the move."

There are few things more powerful than watching people publicly declare their faith in Jesus through baptism. A couple weeks ago, we celebrated stories of God's grace, lives being transformed, and the joy of taking a next step of obedience and faith.

Each baptism represents a unique journey, but they all point to the same truth: God is still changing lives.

Join us in celebrating these individuals and praying for them as they continue to grow in their relationship with Christ. We are grateful to be a church family that gets to witness moments like these together!
