We will have a potluck meal together, we will talk with our friends Orsy and Banessa who answered a call to open this childrens mission base there in Roatan.

Come for this amazing night together to support this team, and come to learn! Bring a dish to share!

Everything is good. The life I have is full of things that I love and enjoy. But I feel.....empty.

God has been a part of my Sunday life. I don't really see the importance of doing much more than church on Sunday. I feel like this life is just passing me by.

I cry out to God, and I know that the Bible says He hears me. But I think there is some kind of a disconnect. I am told that I should have this living and active relationship with God...but I don't know what that means or looks like.

I have been coming to church. In and out the doors of a building. But I don't see any real reason to move beyond that. I have been so hurt by those around me it causes me to turn away from any kind of connection with anyone. But this Jesus...He keeps coming to my mind. He keeps asking me if I know Him.

I am broken. There is nothing for me here. I think life could not be more empty than the life I am living right now. I know that Jesus could be someone I turn to...but I have so much fear.

If any of these cries of your heart make you stop...and identify. We want to talk to you about the God of the Universe that sent His Son to be your atoning sacrifice, and your advocate, your helper. He is beckoning you to Himself. He is asking you to come close. Inviting Jesus in TODAY is the next step. We want you to know this Jesus.

After you make that hearts decision to lay your life down, leave behind your old worries and regrets, and invite Jesus in....Baptism is the very next step.

Don't wait until next month. Don't rely on the good you've done that will hopefully outweigh the bad. Don't think you will have until tomorrow to make that decision. Make it today.

This Sunday we are going down to that water. We will be baptizing those who have dedicated their lives and are ready to step forward and say "Today. Is the day. This is the day my faith becomes action."

This Sunday, the words of Acts 8:26-40 are going to challenge us.

What is preventing you from tearing down that last barrier between you and Jesus?

The Ethiopian in this passage from Acts is going to show us that time to sit and ponder the scripture further, or pride from getting down into the roadside pool, or fear of onlookers are not REAL reasons to NOT be baptized.

This Ethiopian stopped his caddilac (chariot) going down the highway, pulled over onto the side of the road, let the onlookers stare, and he asked Philip to baptize him on the side of the road.

So what is stopping you today?
