The Holden Congregational Church, United Church of Christ worships on Sundays at 10:00 am. We support our community with a food cupboard, emergency support for heat, medicine, gas, or other needs. The Haunted Halloween Neighborhood has been a joy for adults and kids . We offer scholarships for attendance at Pilgrim Lodge, our denomination’s summer camp on Lake Cobbosocontee in West Gardner. Our bu

ilding is available for shelter in storms, with our Holden First Responders having direct access. We fund these ministries by your support of our public suppers, yard sale, peanut brittle sales, and church fairs. in addition to memorial gifts, stewardship pledges, and offering collection. These labors of love are how we love our neighbors and care for the sheep. We invite you to participate in this ministry of love by coming to gather with our flock in worship, by friending us on Facebook , and offering your time and talent to share in our community.

Come to our first baked bean and casserole supper of the season, Saturday May 9, from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. The menu : Homemade baked beans, hot-dogs, a variety of casseroles, salads, coleslaw, and desserts. The meal comes with a roll and choice of coffee, tea, or punch. All for $12.00. At 5 PM on Wednesday Dec. 24, (Christmas Eve) our church on the corner of Rider Bluff and Church Road in Holden Maine, will celebrate the true reason for the season. Come as you are , listen to the stories and sing the familiar carols telling of the birth of Jesus. As we wait, let's remember these young middle eastern parents to be, as they make their way toward Bethleham.
