ormed. Established in 1856, our church has been a lifeline to the surrounding community for generations. The very ground on which our church stands is rich with both history and meaning. Not far from the sanctuary built in 1898 lies an underground spring—a literal source of life that once provided fresh drinking water to people from miles around. While that spring no longer meets the community’s physical needs, it still flows today as a symbol of the spiritual refreshment we now offer. Though the need for the spring’s water has faded, our calling has not. Macedonia Baptist Church remains a spiritual lifeline. As Jesus declared in John 4:14, “Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” It is our mission to be the lifeline to its people, the surrounding area, and the world by being a spring that flows
the living water of everlasting life. Our goal is to train and disciple believers, equipping them to serve both locally and globally. We are committed to being a spring that never runs dry, flowing with the Living Water of Jesus Christ.

What a day today has been at Macedonia Baptist Church!

Baptism & Fried Catfish Fundraiser

Today, we had the joy of celebrating two students who gave their lives to Christ this summer and followed Him in baptism! There truly is no greater reason to celebrate.

Sometimes we don’t immediately see the fruit of the seeds we plant—the prayers prayed, the lessons taught, the invitations given, the time invested, and the love poured into our students. And then there are days like today when God allows us to see a glimpse of what He has been doing all along.

Again, THANK YOU to everyone that bought Catfish Plates and made donations to our youth today.

God is on the move at Macedonia Baptist Church, and He is moving in the hearts of our students!

May we never lose sight of why we do what we do. It isn’t about growing a crowd—it’s about growing HIS KINGDOM.

Lord, keep moving. Keep changing hearts. Keep saving souls. And lead us to faithfully follow wherever You take us.

Join us this Sunday for a great day of worship! Is it time for that “Tune-Up” you’ve been ignoring?

Also, Baptism to follow morning service. What a blessed day it will be!!

And, don’t forget lunch! Our youth will be selling Fried Catfish Plates for $10. All monies raised will go towards student ministry.

Support our Youth! Fried Catfish plates this Sunday @ noon. $10 per plate.

The youth will be selling Fried Catfish Plates on Sunday, August 9 after morning worship. Plates will be $10 each and all proceeds go towards building our youth fund. If you would like to purchase plates, you may call/text, your name and the amount of plates you would like to 225-252-7000. You may either pay cash or Venmo (in the comments).
