ormed. Established in 1856, our church has been a lifeline to the surrounding community for generations. The very ground on which our church stands is rich with both history and meaning. Not far from the sanctuary built in 1898 lies an underground spring—a literal source of life that once provided fresh drinking water to people from miles around. While that spring no longer meets the community’s physical needs, it still flows today as a symbol of the spiritual refreshment we now offer. Though the need for the spring’s water has faded, our calling has not. Macedonia Baptist Church remains a spiritual lifeline. As Jesus declared in John 4:14, “Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” It is our mission to be the lifeline to its people, the surrounding area, and the world by being a spring that flows
the living water of everlasting life. Our goal is to train and disciple believers, equipping them to serve both locally and globally. We are committed to being a spring that never runs dry, flowing with the Living Water of Jesus Christ.
