I've been trying to put into words for the last two days how it felt to baptize two of our own. I'm still at a loss for words. Madie and Lilly are a blessing to everyone who knows them and to watch them grow closer to God is an absolute joy. They made a commitment to Christ in their hearts a long time ago, but on Sunday, they made a public pronouncement that Jesus is their Savior and the Lord of their lives. Sometimes it's helpful to know what the topics of a service are when you're trying to decide if you want to give church a try. Here are some of the concepts we've discussed over the last year:
▫️ Who is God? Who is Jesus? Who is the Holy Spirit?
▫️ Being in a community
▫️ Building a strong community
▫️ How to support each other
▫️ Serving others can make all the difference...for them and you
▫️ Healing broken relationships
And we will be talking about prayer this week! Come give a listen and learn how to communicate with God. September 4....meal from 5-6, message at 6. Kids are welcome to attend our Kids Group!
