Come join us Good Friday morning, April 3, 2026, in our annual Walk the Cross event. We will gather at 9 a.m. at Sparta Methodist Church, with participants taking turns "walking the cross" along the approximately five miles on Sparta Road to Holcomb First Church (formerly Holcomb United Methodist Church), arriving there around 11 a.m. Refreshments will be provided at HFC. Area church groups and individuals are invited to participate in the walk. All ages are welcome; young children will need an adult to accompany them. A safety es**rt will be provided by the sheriff's office.

"Carrying the cross by Himself, Jesus went to the place called Golgotha, where He was nailed to the cross..." (John 19:17-18a) We can celebrate the hope we find on Easter Sunday all the more meaningfully when we join Him on the way to the cross.
