Two of us from St. George’s went the Discipleship day at St. Luke’s in Prescott. It was a wonderful experience as we met many disciples who also join us there. We enjoyed the preaching, guidance, wisdom of Bishop Reddall, Deacon Amy Bryan, Rev Stravinsky, Cn Santibanez; the staff from the Diocese Laurel, Cn Alex, Kevin, Toni.
We had good food, had good laughs, felt the spirit of God during that time. I wish it didn’t have to end.
The main points that was taught was loving both your enemies and having friends. How it’s important to invite people to join us in worship, prayer, outreach, Vestry/bishop meetings, power of hello and is much more!
Being there as discipleship day was worth more than all the gold, silver, copper of Arizona. If you’re curious about it then it’s time definitely go and be part of the growth of the Diocese of Arizona.
We like to thank Bishop Reddall and everyone who took part in making this happen. St. Luke’s for hosting and having most beautiful church in Prescott.
