Many thanks to the “meet and greet” team at our downtown church table for the Labor Day celebration on Saturday. They cheerfully shared FUMC information, New Testaments, fans and much more.

Sep. 4 - Our "Live Streaming" of the Church Services is working right now. Facebook just made a software update and it appears to be working at this time..

We have been working with Gary Parr at Parr Sounds of Great Bend to work on our sound system. Gary has made a huge improvement to our church sound system. We have new mikes, speakers and sound board that really work. Please come to our Church service and check it out.

If anyone has experience with Facebook or YouTube Live Streaming, please let us know (Church Office 620-292-7277).

Hopefully this "Live Streaming" service will behave and our Church services will be available from now on.

“The work that matters: Serving God by serving one another”
This Sunday, we celebrate the work of our hands, but we are reminded that the work that truly matters is serving God by serving one another - work that builds the kingdom of God. Psalm 133 reminds us of the blessing that comes when God’s people worship, work, and live together in unity. We are who we are because of God’s grace. Through Christ’s resurrection, we have been given power to do what God has called us to do. Let us not receive His grace in vain, be bold, confident, and willing to serve God wherever He has placed you.

“Here I am, Lord. Send me.” 🙏

This Sunday, come worship with us as we explore “Taking up the Cross” - when God calls, we follow.” Through Exodus 3 and Romans 12:9–21, we will be reminded that God calls ordinary people to extraordinary service - calling us to love genuinely, serve faithfully, forgive freely, and overcome evil with good. Come, listen, worship, and say YES to God’s call! ❤️✝️

Our Sanctuary is the center of activity this week. The crew from Parr Sound & Lighting is busy installing new audio-visual equipment to enhance our in-house worship services as well as our electronic outreach. We hope you will join us on Sunday to experience our new equipment!

Have you visited our new church History Room? Next time you’re in the building take time to stop in and look around. Just turn north at the top of the east stairway. When you see Jesus and the Disciples, there we are!
