What a great Sunday at Lomax!

We had a wonderful Sunday morning with Bible class and worship, followed by a great Sunday night with our youth-led service, led by Ryder Ward and Jaxon Howard.These young men continue to impress us with their talents, abilities, and willingness to serve.

Then came our younger boys! Their excitement for worship and their willingness to lead songs, read Scripture, share devotional thoughts, and pray is inspiring. It is exciting to watch them grow and already have a desire to serve God and His church.

After services, we enjoyed a great time of fellowship together and a devotional from Cole Farr.Cole did a great job and continues to show what it means to be a leader to our youth—not only through his words, but also through his actions.

It was a great day at Lomax, and one where the Son was definitely shining.

We wanted to give a big shout-out to Jaxon Howard and Ryder Ward!

These two great young men stepped up and helped us move couches during the extreme heat last week. We are so proud of their servant hearts and willingness to help wherever they are needed.

Back-to-School Time!

As our students, teachers, faculty, and staff begin a new school year, the Lomax Church of Christ is praying for them.

During our service on Sunday, we took time to pray for everyone returning to school. Members were also given wristbands as a reminder to continue praying throughout the week and someone they could be praying for.

Here is a small glimpse of some of our members and the special people they are praying for!

At Lomax Church of Christ, we believe prayer is not just something we do on Sundays—it is something we do every day. If you have a need or prayer request, please let us know. We would be honored to pray for you!
