Happy Retirement to Pastor Aufdenkamp!

The church communities of Christ and Zion gathered at Zion in Hoffman on Sunday to celebrate Pastor's retirement and to thank him for his years of service to both communities. There were also guests from churches where Pastor had filled in over the past few years. It was a time of fellowship, storytelling, laughter and tears as people from many communities shared their memories.

It is with heartfelt gratitude that we thank you Pastor. The impact that you and Deb have made on our church communities and on the individuals within those communities has been immeasurable.

Zion LWML trip to the Orphan Grain Train collection center in Milbank, SD. Pictures are of Hygiene kits, shopping bag mats, and balls of cut strips. Zion Hoffman Lutheran Women in Mission also packed 1000 meals for Mercy Meals.

Thursday, May 7th LWML will be heading to Milbank, SD to the Orphan Grain Train headquarters to deliver the Health Care Kits. We will also b packing meals as a Servant Event, followed with lunch at the Millstone Family Restaurant. We will be leaving church at about 8:30 am.
