Prayer For God to Reveal Himself to My Children
Father God, I bring my children before You today. Thank You for loving them before I ever could. Your Word says You desire that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). I ask You to reveal Yourself to my kids in a real and undeniable way.
Jesus, let them know You as Lord, Savior, Shepherd, and Friend. Your Word says if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9). I pray my children would believe in You wholeheartedly and not just follow religion or people.
Father, protect their minds and hearts from deception, rebellion, pride, and every voice trying to pull them away from You. Your Word says, “Train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). Help me lead them with wisdom, patience, truth, and love.
I declare Your promise that me and my house will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15). I declare my children are taught by the Lord and great will be their peace (Isaiah 54:13). Let the Holy Spirit convict them, guide them, and draw them to Jesus with love and truth (John 16:13).
Break every ungodly influence trying to shape their identity. Let every lie be replaced with truth. Your Word says whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Raise my children to love what is good, hate what is evil, walk in wisdom, and stand firm in faith.
Give them soft hearts that hunger for righteousness. Surround them with godly friendships, mentors, and influences. Let them hear Your voice clearly. Your Word says Your sheep hear Your voice and follow You (John 10:27).
Father, keep them covered. Keep them protected spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Let their lives bring glory to You. May they become lights in this dark world (Matthew 5:14-16). I trust You with my children, Lord. They belong to You first. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
